Does anyone else think the Travel Trailer in the game needs a remaster?

The travel trailer in the game in my opinion needs a minor update at the very least.



BeamNG's door feature doesn't even work on it and I think working interior lights, or at least a slightly updated interior would help.

Small, Regular, and Large configs would be awesome, but I personally think the door issue is the big thing. Sorry If I put this in the wrong section.

It definitely should be updated. As for different sizes, the current one could be the regular, a large one would be longer and have two axles and maybe the roof would be a bit taller , and the smaller one would be something like this

Another few options could include different floor plans (maybe two options for each size, three for the large) plus maybe some sort of mobile office or changing room conversion of the large size (like those Star Wagons used on movie sets)


And finally, more livery options, all fully colorable for the sake of variety

 

yeah it could use a remaster maybe with the ability to strip the interior and replace it with cargo boxes

 

Are you planning to use a gutted travel trailer for career mode lol.

 

Another few things I thought of, worn out/grimy/ rusty skins and parts, some abandoned or heavily used config, and also some modernized versions with more up to date interior design, equipment and stylings to go well with the H-series RV mod.

Another possibility, though it would pretty much be a separate vehicle, is a bed camper for the long beds of the D-series

Yea, a bed camper for the D-Series would be awesome! (What I mean by bed camper is the picture with the green truck with the camper thing on the back.)

 

That would be cool. Although the devs are now delaying 0.33.

 

I don’t care how long it takes, the worst is a rushed update.

 

Yeah. That would really suck.

 

I'd love to see the damage improved on the trailer so each piece of wood can break away from the rest, and the furniture can break into pieces too, like you see in Monster Jam and such. Probably too performance intensive though, but it has been almost 10 years since they made the original version so who knows what the current game is capable of compared to back then.

I really hope the devs see this since I didn't realize just how long the travel trailer has been neglected till I found this thread. (I knew it had been a long time, just never realized it had beem this long).

 

Like I said. I just think adding the new already in-game door feature to it would be a start, but I guess give it interior lights and maybe have it, a smaller version, a bigger 2 axle version, and maybe. Just maybe, a 3 Axle or 4 Axle Version The T-series could pull.

 

How about a derby skin for true caravan racing experiences ?

 

A gooseneck and fifth wheel camper would be cool, along with a custom hauler config for the T-Series
