I decided to try to make my first mod, and i need help. Theres something weird going on with the mesh lining up with the jbeam, and i cant figure out how to offset it. i also found these pictures of blender, and heres the meshlap/jbeam files. PROGRESS UPDATE: (5/19/2024) bodypannels aligned, though i think the nodes are a lil jank PROGRESS! (5/20/2024) Its pretty much ready to be released, i just need to check if theres anything i need to edit
My advice would be using BX's JBeam as a base and then you put the Miramar daes on them as a meshslap as you adjust the nodal positions.
These are the example lines you were asking for. They go on the end of of the part you were trying to mode. First being node(Can move and entire axle for example). You take the Miramar dae and bx .dae models, fit them together in Blender, remove the parts you don't want, rename the new parts, export the dae, put in the mod folder. Import the Miramar jbeam parts, rename everything so it fits the bx, move the nodes around so they get along well with the bx chassis, eventually rename the nodes and eventually remake the beams that hold the Miramar parts to the bx ones and ig ur done. --- Post updated --- Oh and mess with the materials or smth, or even try remaking the textures cause they might stretch
