I drive with a wheel and as far as I'm concerned this drives pretty close to an actual truck

 

I would buy it, if I could...

 

It is not close to a truck at all...

The cab moves ridiculously lol. Play ETS2

 

Most people say the cab on euro trucks feels like "sitting on a cloud". I think the cab in ets2 trucks are stiffer than irl.

 

But that can be fixed with the AirRide mod

 

Uploaded a hotfix yesterday.

Changelog Hotfix V1.7.1:

Reworked the pneumatics system to work with the new self leveling system in BeamNG. Works on its own and will level the truck when hooking up to a trailer, but has independent overrides for the front, drives and trailing axles with the same keys used before for ease of use.

Reworked mirror mesh and uv to update it further for the new mirror system.

Stiffened and also added adjustment values to the cab suspension shocks for user preference, per request.

Changed some keys, some names for bindings etc. Check your bindings!

Numerous suspension jbeam tweaks, including lowering stress and reducing instability all around the vehicle.

Tweaked suspension shock values and suspension noise levels.

Fixed bumpsteer issue for real this time.

Tweaked engine specs, temperatures and turbo performance to be a lot more realistic, and added new V8 sounds, both exhaust and engine. Give it a listen and enjoy.

Added dashboard modification slot, including a dalahäst.

Added new marker lights to all of the mudguards and fenders for more selection and variation.

Added air tank mesh to front and some rear frames for more details.

Reworked corner light lua, more efficient code.

Reworked gauge cluster textures etc.

Temporarily disabled the axle lift system since the vanilla system doesn't support it completely yet, will be active when suchs system is in place.

 

Does anyone think a box truck version would be awesome?

 

Any Rigid version would be awsome

 

I just bought this mod and i cant seem to figure out how to use axle lift. I use the assigned controls and nothing happens. Can someone help?

Try using a 6 speed auto and locking the diffs and transfercases
