    i have 8 gigs of ram, an Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4500, and going to get a 1tb ssd.
Will this be enough to run 0.32 at the bare minimum? I want to play it, but I don't know what maps will crash, since I did play Ecusa, and my computer crashed (on 0.23). I'm hoping that it won't crash again with other maps and Ecusa:)

    Intel Celeron? Forget any hope.
You need at least a Intel Core i3 4th Gen (for desktop computer, your laptop isn't enough).

Even on Lowest, it won't launch at all, or you'll get 2 fps.

Not true. I was able to get 20-30 fps at 640x480 on a dual core with integrated graphics.

Not sure that the 0.32 can run at 20 fps with Celeron's integrated graphics, and even less with that CPU in global. If you have a RTX, well the Ultra setting might be good? No, your CPU must be able to do all calculations in real time with 1 vehicle. I'm not sure that your dual core was able to go on West Coast with 3-4 cars, as well on Gridmap with 1 vehicle you surely had many freezes.
And what do you mean dual core? It's vast. Lots of CPUs have dual core. Dual-core CPUs don't have the same power and the same characteristics between them... The Celeron is a power-efficient processor, and is by no means a gaming processor.
So yes @frks3864 you can try but you'll have freezes, GPU crashes errors, and intensive lags. Or you can "try" beta 0.4.0.6 on Steam which is less demanding, but it may not be the miracle solution.

tbh 0.23 works good, but ecusa crashed my laptop once on that version, and that was the Only incident that beamng caused to my computer. i still wanna try 0.32 anyway, so good-luck to me

You may want the old gridmap since it's less demanding than the current gridmap without being completely blank and boring.
    https://www.beamng.com/resources/gridmap.18681/

I played the tech demo version of Beam with an i3-5010U way back and according to CPU-monkey, gets 221pt in Cinebench R15 while N4500 gets 723pt in Cinebench R20. Using 4790k results 1982/854 and 6700k results 2059/888, 1pt in R15 should be the equivalent of about 2.32pts in R20, so you should have a better time than I did.

tho I did have 16GB memory and Beam on my current computer often exceeds 8GB on its own, so keep an eye on that.

If you want all maps working, no GPU crashes, and good framerate, upgrade.
