Got yet another lore-friendly vehicle idea, once again sticking on the larger side, but this time we're almost entirely on the German side of things... Spoiler: Gavril Sagittarius Gen 1+2 and Gavril Libson Gen 3 As a replacement for their aging Lisbon, Gavril's German division the first generation Sagittarius in 1985. The car was sold in Ireland and the UK as a third generation Libson, to leverage brand recognition. Unlike the Libsons before it, the Sagittarius/Libson wasn't offered in a 2-door hardtop, in it's place a 5-door hatchback model, with 4-door saloon and 5-door estate models also offered. Under the Libson nameplate, the car was offered with a variety of engine options. 1.8 and 2 litre I4s, 2.4 and 2.8 (later 2.9) litre V6s. Those engines were also offered in Continental Europe, as well as a few diesel options, including 2.5 litre Cherrier turbo and non-turbo I4s, as well as a different 2.5 I4. The car was redesigned in 1994 with a rather controversial design, with Ireland and UK models dropping the Libson nameplate, using the Scorpio nameplate from the rest of Europe. For this generation, the hatchback was dropped, leaving just the saloon and estate forms. The engine lineup was shuffled a little, as well. The later 2 litre from the previous gen was carried over, as well as the later 2.5 litre diesel, and the 2.9 litre V6, but all other engines dropped. The only new engine was a 2.3 litre version of the 2.0 petrol engine. A facelift came in September of 97, but production ended less than a year after, with a planned third generation being cancelled due to the car's poor reputation.

Spoiler: 2011+ Ibishu 'M' Family In the modern age of Japanese kei cars, Ibishu has built some serious icons over the years. In 2011, they decided to go slightly retro with a new lineup of kei cars, collectively called the 'M' Family, a nod back to the Mujina 360 (Mujina being a type of Japanese Yōkai) (often shortened to M360, as in Honda N360) of the 60s and 70s. The first entry in the 'M' Family came in 2011, with the introduction of the M-Carton (as in N-BOX), a tall kei-MPV, successor to the long-standing Jinsei (Japanese for Life, as in Honda Life). A lower-roof hatchback version, the M-Carton Slice (as in N-BOX Slash) arrived in 2014. The M-Carton has three generations, with the first going from 2011-2017, with the Slice going from 2014-2020, the second generation from 2017-2023, and the current generation from 2023-present. Following the M-Carton was the modern take on the Mujina 360, which Ibishu called the M-Ichi (Ichi being Japanese for One, as in N-ONE). The M-Ichi has seen two generations, the first from 2012-2020, and the second from 2020-present. In 2013, the third member of the 'M' Family arrived, the M-Chisai (Chisai meaning Small, this one as in the N-WGN), this one paying homage to not only the Mujina, but also the 90s Chisai, from which it gets it's name. The first generation went from 2013-2019, and the current generation, which has styling cues that pay homage to the Jinsei, from 2019-present. The fourth and most recent addition to the 'M' Family is the M-Crate (as in N-VAN), which was introduced in 2018 as a successor to both the Kevin line of vans, as well as the Iku (Japanese for Go, as in Vamos) line. Still in it's first generation, it's also the first 'M' Family model to receive an EV variant, the M-Crate Charge, introduced in 2024.
