Sooo there's a big ramp on a map i use and I decided to turn off all the transmission safety settings and try to see what happens when you put a vehicle in reverse while going like 150 mph. Nothing happened though? The gears were fine. Am I missing something?

I don't really think you are missing something... are you sure that if you will switch to reverse on high speeds, you will grind gears?

Doesn't it have to do with the gearbox assists for manual cars? I know that the clutch assist or gearbox safety assist might prevent the reverse gear from actually engaging, but I swear I've wrecked transmissions and engines that way before by turning it off. If you're in an automatic car, I don't think anything would happen.

yeah I tried it with manual transmissions and it still didn't really do anything but skid the drive wheels while blazing down the hill
