Cannot find Graphics Adapter, can't launch

I've already made a support ticket, but I've received no response for a while, so I'm making this thread as well.

Brand new install of the game, no mods, safe mode doesn't help, verified game integrity & cleared cache multiple times each. I know that's not the problem. What's happening, from digging into the log files, is that the game can't find the rendering device for my GPU. I use an XFX 6600xt, 6GB, and the basic AMD GPU drivers without AMD Software: Adrenalin. This is because I was plagued with green screen crashes while Adrenalin was installed, and I've had none since uninstalling it. But I'm assuming the game isn't set up to expect the game to be run on AMD GPUs without specifically finding that driver as well. Is there a way for me to directly input the driver information to the settings without launching the game somehow? Or am I mistaken?
