Some genius moderator deleted my message, on my own post, a message notifying everyone about me working on this again, i'll try again: give me a few weeks if they also delete this message, then this mod will die along with this thread
I feel somewhat responsible because I made a dumb joke about you "bumping" (even though I knew fully well that you were the original creator of the thread), which started an argument. Sorry for being dumb
I've just upgraded my PC from an i5 4460 | GTX1050ti | 24gb ram to a ryzen9 5900X | RTX4060 | 64gb ram so i went from barely 60fps on minimum to a constant +150fps on ultra xD is crazy i've finished all the side tools, the blender addon (made it cos I really dislike the official one, just the lack of ctrl+z makes me avoid it at all costs) is just a basic addon to add name attributes to vertices and some naming tools and copy to clipboard features: just a gif showing the blender addon so this addon + the vscode jbeam extension will make modding a lot easier while keeping the workflow I feel comfortable with more news to come soon, im full on this now
Remade the wheels, the white part of front wheel is paintable in-game (3rd color in config) the rest is progressing, i already have a drivable thing that is hundred times more stable than the 2019 version, I had to rewrite every jbeam file cos older ones were just inestable garbage. I've also added some new details like some cool animations for pedals, gearstick and steering column should take no more than a week to update the main post with some new video (I wanna have the same parts I had before for better comparison) a basic addon to work with jbeam that adds name attributes to vertices and turn the mesh into some kind of 'jbeam mesh' + some naming tools + clipboard tools + visualization of the nodes/edges (and names), it does NOT interact directly with jbeam files, i dont like that
The prophet has returned! Yo, didn't expect you to finally finish up this mod after all these years. Super excited to see how it goes for you!
