I recently got a Fanatec 911 Carrera wheel, and I've had some problems.

    1. In beamNG, the gears don't work, they just select different game functions (yes, I'm using manual mode). For example, 4th gear changes the gear mode (manual, arcade automatic, etc)

    2. The wheel doesn't turn fast enough. For example, in LFS when I have to countersteer heavily I can't, because the wheel doesn't move fast enough. I can move it with my hands, but it is really slow.
However, when the wheel is turned off it is fine, so it's not mechanical.

Also, in LFS the wheel's force feedback feels like a retarded horse, and overall the wheel feels very stiff and slow. Drift mode just makes the wheel wanna have a seizure in my hands.
Does anyone know how to fix/tune it properly?

Bump, this is really annoying. I just need a way to "loosen" the wheel.

I am not that familiar with Fanatec, but I assume it uses a profiler similar to the Logitec profiler. You'll have to adjust the properties within there to fine tune it. In regards to BeamNG, the force feedback is very rudimentary and mostly unusable, although that will change. So, you'll have to adjust it in other sims.

I've adjusted it in the software, and in the wheel buttons. The problem lies mostly with LFS.

Have you tried setting "DRFT" to 1, 2, or 3 in the little menu thing on the wheel?
That's drift mode. It makes the wheel a lot easier and faster to turn.
