Such as this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6CzLZsN3Z0 1:31. As it is now flipping cars over is not exactly difficult, but you're never going to get a similar result every time, now with this it would be possible to test the strenght of different cars and being able to change variables, such as speed, angle and .... uhmmm, stuff. As some of you may or may not know Nadeox1 has created a 1 tonne crash cart. Something like that could be used as a base, and then add a plate tilted at, maybe 45 degress. Well, it's not quite that simple but you get the idea.
Re: Drivable platform for Rollover crash testing i am actually trying to make one right now. Let me take a video and post it! UPDATE the mesh sucks and i need to angle the platform, but i have the concept down i think. it stays in one place too. Sorry about the massive video [webm=]http://www.beamng.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=49121&d=1419531651[/webm]
Re: Drivable platform for Rollover crash testing Nice to see that someone had already created a moving platform. The only problem that i can see from the video is that the track is short and the cart is accelerating to fast. I don't know if its possible to make the cart gradually accelerate, because now, even if the cart was tilting, the cars wheels might get imbedded in the platform. i'm sorry that i'm criticizing your work, because even if it has some minor issues it's still doing it's job. Keep up the good work
@narwhal2: It's actually really good; the only thing that needs work is the acceleration and maybe length. Good work!
