Quite a simple idea, allowing people to save their current activated list of mods so that they can enable different "presets" depending on what they want to play, alternatively it could include links to automatically download a bunch of repo mods (and those modpacks could be uploaded to the repo/forums)
Indeed, having a separate modding preset that just loaded the default vehicles and the unpacked folder would be amazing.
I also forgot to mention that you can actually do something similar to whats suggested here, to save which mods are active or not, you can see the mod folder has a file called db.json which has info on which mods are active and which arent, by copying that you could do something like i suggested
