explanation: forza has been really close to chinese cars and the director from fm8 said the game (fm8) was built from the ground up while showcasing 3d models from a decade ago
Anyone else having trouble reading the gauges when the light isn't straight on the dash? I can see everything else in the interior just like the other cars but the gauges
Ooooh that's right I forgot about that LMAO. FM8 was such a flop it genuinely sucks. Also extremely poorly optimized. And you're right there's a lot of Chinese cars in the game now. The fuckin Wuling Sunshine n shit. I actually like the tiny Chinese car, though the Wuling Hongguang. It goes 240mph in REVERSE if you tune it right.
Hey, just to note that i was the first person that was working on this mod , and you did a better job than mine, like your mods btw!
Nice work setting up this mod! I've designed a body kit for my model but I'm sure it'll fit Turn10's mesh without much problem. Maybe you'd like to use it for a crazy fast config? That would be cool to see, so if you're interested LMK. Link: https://a3dr.artstation.com/projects/1YRzG
Great, will set up a Blender file with those parts so you can add them. Not that I have a lot of spare time, but I'll try to sort it out sometime this month.
Finally the RCR's sera video became a reality. I did not expect you to begin working with beamng but I'm SO glad you are! I've never had anything but amazement at your AC models!
Super fun little car, but there may be a few tuning issues with the suspension. The front has almost zero travel or compression and the rear is extremely bouncy. I watched the rear suspension movement and it looks like the springs barely compress due to the torsion beam rake. I'd consider moving the springs aftward/closer to the wheels so that they have more leverage and compress more with travel (many real-life torsion beams actually put the springs behind the rear wheels for this reason.) It should make the rear firmer while also improving ride comfort. Apart from that, super cool to have this little guy in the game!
