I admit that, while I noticed the new configuration, I have never played with it, and I also didn't pay attention to the foglights. By the way, the Miramar looks really nice with them.
Devs, what's happening here? It's almost 3 weeks and this is the repo situation... sorry for this post, but I wanted to understand if there are updates or not?
They probably have an unsolved technical issue + a good chunk of staff could on holidays, so that's understandable
It is! I played with it yesterday. I really enjoyed the drift Miramar. Since it's not very powerful, it's also easier to drift than the other cars in the game while using the keyboard.
They also opened the construction site in the Promenade crossroads, between the Hospital parking lot and the tunnel, just under the turning bridge. I really hope the parking lots in this area get functional some time! I mean, car chases are gonna be much more dramatic due to the choice expanding! --- Post updated --- Holy cow! I'd love to see a fully armored truck like this smashing through the traffic, whether it be a bank truck or a SWAT truck, like in GTA when you enter an area you haven't progressed the game enough to be able to! Even the T-Series gets tired after some time in this scenario! --- Post updated --- Expanding the Belasco Diesel offerings with a smaller 8.9l/550CUI I6 unit is a very logical hypothesis! A big gas engine would also be suitable, say a lore-friendly 460CUI/7.54l V8. --- Post updated --- Wonder where the extra road heads to. Could it be heading towards the crossroads on the other side of the residential area? Could it also be connected to a road path starting from the off-ramp heading to the main freeway? Both hypotheses seem reasonable to me.
I just had an idea. The teasers seem to show a medium-duty truck right? And they added realistic hydraulics recently... What if they made a cherry picker truck! It would be a great showcase of the hydraulics (instead of a crane since we don't have ropabables yet) and could add some new mission content!
Why not. They forgot to put the hyraulic system in the D/H-series for the rollback configs. The tilt deck trailers have it, but not those vehicle for a weird reason.
Yep, I'm all for it! Hydraulics can have a lot of uses: 1) Cherry pickers. 2) Bulldozers. 3) Cranes. 4) Rotating ladders and water pumps on fire engines. 5) Vehicle-flattening presses. 6) Suspensions, power steering systems and door controls (remember old Citroens and Clarkson's green Grosser Merc). In fact, the first four of these applications can also be combined with the PTO system debuted on the T-Series remake!
We could still get a truck mounted "crane" in the form of a knuckleboom/tie crane. Something like a Cormach or Rotobec. No ropables needed (or crane permits ) We would need a system to control it of course, but from a physics standpoint I think we're good
I believe it had them ever since it was introduced in Beam, but it got the revamped air system with the 0.31 Update, like the T-Series.
Fun fact: If you decie to drain the air from the brakes, the vehicle will play a loud warning buzzer inside, until you turn the engine on and wait until it fills to the safe pressure. Yes, this AIR gauge is finally functional.
sadly i dropped BeamNG, my potato cant handle anymore. but i'll be always here to speculate new updates
