'01 hirochi sbr4 predecessor- Hirochi Sbr2(based on an automation export) drives well, and it has an edited jbeam(only issue is that automation models are high poly, so it doesn't crash insanely well) Biggest problem right now is the textures, if anyone has pointers or help with this, I'd love to learn because I have no clue what to do to be honest
Looks nice, but it looks too modern for a car made in 2001. The taillights and headlights look outdated, too. Take inspiration from cars from older Burnout games.
Nope, there will not be a lore-friendly version. However, I asked that when it was just a tube frame, so things might've changed from then
Not interested in doing lore friendly stuff, only did the ultrabump for the memes because the thread was inactive for like 6 years.
Nah the turbos might have obscured the icpipe to the intercoolers tho, which this setup is actually more compact than the vanilla one.
Yo no joke im looking forward to this traffic tool you're making cuz honestly with traffic in beamng imo makes the game more fun (though my current laptop is at its end with storage and stuff). You need to make a seperate thread for the tool just in case if we ever want to download the mod by then (take your time on it and always offer help if you need it to get more progress). But ye, anything else we should expect from the tool like new set of vehicles like vans, trucks, buses (I watched yours and car killer's vid on it and only saw just cars and caravans), or anything new you put into it? Keep up the work AgentMooshroom5, Much love.
Not dead at all but there's been some changes in plans I've been meaning to post so this is a good excuse. The first version of the Yakuza traffic pack got released a week ago alongside the Yokohama map here and I still have plans to improve and add to those, as I have learnt lots over the past year or so since I started the traffic projects so lots of the earlier stuff has now fallen behind (and I don't think I ever finished the full list of vehicles there tbh) The biggest disruption here has been experiments with and then following realisation I can actually just model things myself from scratch (after a few breakthroughs in reference sourcing), which has meant I'm no longer really constrained to existing usable model sources here, which then means that my plans and ideas for what I want to add for all the packs have shifted a bit as I now have basically the whole world of Stuff available to me now. This also means I can't pump them out quite as quick as I could before but also means the quality will be upped a fair bit, and I can expand into other areas I couldn't really do before but wanted to (japanese traffic, because none of the weird stuff I wanted I could ever find models for that I'd ever be able to release before) Since that's a boring ramble, here's some shiny pictures of recent traffic stuff I've modelled instead (with levels of Regular Traffic misery previously impossible from purely racing game selections) (yes swaces are actually pretty rare but i'm not skipping that opportunity while i'm at it) (seicento modelled by ezo not me but it was for the mod anyway so i'm including it) And the current traffic project in all its half finished glory (facelift is also coming i just havent got to it yet) Current plan is to go through and update the current "old" lot and bring them more up to scratch, finish up a few of the other cars I never got round to for those and then get it released as a version 1. From then I'll start drip feeding in my new content with regular updates I guess, because if I tried to exhaust or even put a dent in the wishlist first it'd never see the light of day. Which leads me on to my latest distraction, with my new found modelling abilities I've finally been able to achieve the dream of modelling and creating the world's finest* automobile. Still heavy WIP of course. I don't think there's enough information out there in the world to be able to faithfully recreate it 1:1 so it's a glorified traffic jbeam with some extra nodes and an attempt at realistic powertrains tacked on (these do not work right currently of course), complete with lower poly interior and underbody (that i need to redo and am slacking off). I'll dump this on the forums whenever its in a vaguely reminiscent of complete state because there is no way I am able to ever excuse this one as a traffic car.
Sunstorm Coupe with new lights (from eSBR) and rear bumper redesign (minimized model clipping between the lights and the rear diffuser vents), tailgate openable not done despite I have tried multiple times about adjusting the spoiler's position and the lights nodal position (cancelling the node move slots) and the tailgate refuses to open. @TwoTwoNine Please see PMs for the current zip file.
