I consistently run into a bug on the Industrial Loop Race where the AI racers will stop at the last checkpoint before the start finish line, where they will then pull a u turn and race the course in reverse to get to the start finish line before turning around again (also it would be fun to get more random opponent races, as this is the only one in the game right now, and an increase in racer count).

The roof on the main stands for the WCUSA racetrack has some collision issues; cars can get stuck or fall through. None of the other roofs in the area have this issue.


Additionally, some of the signs on US-54 east incorrectly call it US-55. Pretty sure it's always been like this, but in the US even routes are east-west and odd routes are north-south.

 

The Covet Track config has no horn sound despite there being one installed.

 

So are the Wendover's race rear disc brakes supposed to be non-vented? They get hotter than the front brakes on my track build. The regular rear disc brakes are not vented but the sport rear disc brakes are. Seems to be an oversight.

 

I made a post a while back ago now talking about a really interesting AI Behaviour that proves that traffic is actually smarter than we think! I thought it was worth getting a little more attention if I posted it here!

 

Has anyone with a Ryzen done some testing of the new windows update, either 24H2 or KB5041587?

You can access in Win11 via Settings-> Windows Update and in option updates or something. For me though, it showed up as a banner up the top, like it was promoted.

Anecdotal evidence, but it seems like Vulkan graphics mode is a bit smoother for me. Momentary dips in FPS are either less often, or less severe, or both, and I haven't seen the frame flashes since installing KB5041587 either.

Noticed an error in the brake system widget a long time ago, but now I noticed the mixed values: brake discs, brake pads.
To correct this confusion, you just need to change the names and positions in places.
Otherwise, it turns out that replacing the brake pads is replacing the disc and vice versa. this is also visible in the widget and on the physical characteristics!

this error is systemic in nature as it is present on all cars, I doubt that no one has noticed it for such a long time or is too lazy to fix it

the odometer in some configurations of the D15 flickers or disappears completely, as if it falls into the texture.

 

The screen blur used for the blurred UI elements is rendered before the motion blur which means it ends up having blurred edges:


Currently the blur PostFX renders after the OverlayRender bin, but would need to be moved to AfterDiffuse to fix the render order.

 

Can anyone else confirm the strobe effect of api vulkan? in the evening, it really hits the eyes. This is clearly some kind of mistake that has been in the game for a very long time

 

I hope that in update 0.33 we will be able to turn on the hazard warning lights and parking lights when the ignition is off

just now I noticed that gas stations on all maps are not working for me, although they are included in the menu, I tried to remove and return the check mark and it did not help.I don't know after which update it happened, but most likely after 0.32

I tried disabling the settings using the exclusion method, nothing helps except disabling the visibility of shadows

 

the dct (dual clutch transmission) transmission on all cars switches from 1 to 2 gear only after reaching more than 3 thousand revolutions, no matter how little pressure on the gas(this problem has been since the appearance of this box in the game)This behavior of the box is similar to the behavior in sports mode

 

I manually drew a v-based script ai trajectory and set a starting delay point but starting delay didn't work. I opened the game in safe mode but same thing happened.

 

This might seem a lot, but colabs with IRL vehicle manufacturers, being able to paint individual car parts, a updated car crusher, more actual supercars, scratches and dents, fire physics (a cars body deforms after it catches fire), less remasters on the T-Series and focusing more on vehicles that haven't been touched since release or cars that barely get attention, and new maps (there's like maybe 5 actual maps that are somewhat realistic)

 

You’re right, it does seem like a lot. Half of the things you list are either impossible or several years down the line, and the other half are just plain ignorant.

 

that one is pretty much a no go if you want Beam's level of damage physics.
