OUT NOW Update August 2024 (v2408): Bugfixes: Zones, portals and occlusion volumes have been added. The large "Beamhausen" tunnel has been switched to "ambient lighting" and the "point lights" have been removed. This slightly increases performance, especially when night lights are activated. Here you can show off your skills on a 1.8 km long drift track. Can you complete a complete lap without touching the walls? The visitor center has been expanded to include a parking lot. As usual, I removed the previous version, cleared the cache, downloaded the September Update. The drift track does appear in main menu, but doesn't in map overview and ingame. --- Post updated --- And if you wonder, yes I have the other modifications because it appears on the screen.
I just checked. The problem must be on your side. Try clearing the cache manually. Go to "BeamNG.drive/0.32/temp" and delete the "levels" folder. Also, please check whether there is an old version of the map somewhere (BeamNG.drive/0.32/mods - or BeamNG.drive/0.32/mods/repo). If neither works, go to "BeamNG.drive/0.32/levels" and see if there is a "car_jump_arena_ng" folder in that folder. If so, delete it.
I noticed a problem loading textures in the distance on the autobahn, I noticed that the texture of the trees in the middle of the road is in 2d and when I get closer becomes 3d v --- Post updated --- hard to see with pictures
You have to set the mesh-quality to "high". The higher you set the "Mesh Quality", the sooner the high-LOD meshes will appear. @Ananel81: Does the drift track work now?
I know that sometimes the game's resolution can affect LODs. --- Post updated --- I didn't tried yet, I will test this afternoon when I get home from school.
Okay so now I have to clear the cache myself, strange. Anyway thanks it worked! --- Post updated --- Oh and I have the same issue too. It didn't do that on the previous update. It's really very strange, it looks like halves of trees going up and down.
Very strange. I don't have this issue. But try this: Go to "BeamNG.drive/0.32/temp/levels/" and delete the "car_jump_arena_ng" folder. Then go to "BeamNG.drive/0.32/levels/" and delete also the "car_jump_arena_ng" folder. I think this problem has something to do with the automatic generated "imposters".
