Seeing how the truck would fit between the D & T-Series, I'd assume it would be called something like MD-Series (medium duty)
And the Hopper, when equipped with the 15x6 5-slot wheels ("27x7.0R15 Mud Terrain Tires")! --- Post updated --- Not really, since there are Medium-Duty variants already (the D25 ones) and the suspension parts are named accordingly.
I'm hoping we get a proper fire truck (non-functional of course) with this update based on the medium duty D-series.
Yes I know. I stated that in my previous post. --- Post updated --- That's not a true medium duty truck. That's more of a brand term than a full industry official term.
It should be a Gavril (I say "should" opposed to "is" only because there is the chance of something weird like a badge engineered situation). Ford, Chevy (Until 2009), and Dodge (Until 1975 in the US, late 1990's in Mexico) all made their medium duty trucks by slapping the pickup cab (or van cab) with a unique front clip onto a truck frame. Engine options are generally a mix of the largest pickup options and some medium duty diesels not seen in the pickups. There are of course some astrisks here (Ford had the medium duty versions of the L-Series and the COE C-Series; Dodge had a ton of other medium duty trucks with different nomenclature over the years) They are both a take on Gavril filling the 1990's medium duty truck slot, which honestly did not have much variation at all IRL. So it makes sense that it looks like the mod. Compared to IRL counterparts it should be called some variation of D55/65 through D85 since Ford/Chevy/Dodge all used the pickup nomenclature for these trucks in this era (Even the Kodiak/Topkick had a C designation like the pickups).
looking at the teaser teh new medium duty looks alot more like the ford then the chevy.. --- Post updated --- with the split grill. but there is some more roundedness like the kodiac
my guess is that itll be from around the 80s due to how similar it is to the 80s ford f-700. the front is practically the same as the ford rather than gm, the interesting part is wasnt the d-series mostly gm with hints of ford where as this is mostly ford from the front.
i think it may have a 1980s maybe stay in hte 1990s or maybe a facelift, but idk. still cool none of the less.
so like a late eights to early 90s, maybe a facelift maybe not. yea i noticed that to --- Post updated --- that was my 1000th message lol
This looks like a major reveal teaser if I've ever seen one. Looks like 0.33 Is just around the corner! (For real this time.) --- Post updated --- Speaking of which, they have been oddly quiet on their own mods discussion page...
wouldn't make sense that they haven't updated the creator branch and giving creators the time to make videos
whenever it is its still an update. so its worth the wait --- Post updated --- never had a bad beam update
True, Either way, I think it will be within 1 week. Maybe not this week, but VERY soon. --- Post updated --- The supercar that's frankly better than the scintilla and just needs some TLC? Not the worst update.
