learn to take criticism dude, if you post that you are putting a mod on hold for another thing for the 4th time, people reasonably will not be happy
Don't discourage the man, at least he's alternating between things instead of cancelling it outright. Would you rather wait longer for a good mod, or get no mods at all? --- Post updated --- It isn't ABANDONED, he specifically said ON HOLD. He will come back to it eventually. He didn't say "I'm never working on this again." No reason to be such a jerk, just don't say anything.
Starting multiple projects while not having the required skill to finish them and then getting upset when people call you out on it is not the way to gain reputation lol. We’re not bothering you, we’re reminding you to finish one thing before starting another which we both know you’ll never finish anyway (that’s a bit harsh, from what we currently know atleast)
Just leave the poor guy alone, he's just doing what he thinks is best. Don't stress him out and you'll end up with a good mod. But if you make him feel bad for not working on what you want him to, he'll get burnt out. This is why so many mods go unfinished, the amount of stress the people put on the developer is too much for most people. (Well not *every* unfinished mod, some people are just lazy or have the attention span of a fruit fly)
I do strongly agree with this, but when starting a project the illogical thing to do is put it on hold and start another one.. (which then gets put on hold for the sake of another one and the cycle goes on) I know all about being burnt out from work, not necessarily from modding but still the same feeling - again I’m not trying to pick on the fact that you’ve started up multiple projects or how that’s a horrible thing to do, (this is sarcasm) I do advise you to stick to one project at a time before going to another one. When I do graphic design I never start a new project before finishing the old one, atleast to a state where I’m ok with it as it is. It might be less interesting for me there and then, but just having it finished is so peaceful for me afterwards because I can then channel my energy to focus on the new project, feeling less burnt out and having less to deal with simultaneously. After all it’s your mod, and your own decision. If you feel like we’re all wrong and you need a break, you don’t have to explain that to us. I can’t speak for the others but I can say that my only intent here is to advise and to share my own personal opinion
well seeing this is the forth time hes done the same thing with his 94 Pontiac Trans sport, 07 Corolla RunX, Toyota Hiace 1997 and now Honda Jazz and never come back to it because he found a new car to make, this seems like its also being abandoned for another proyect that also might not get released
