Update Speculation thread

I wouldn't quite say it's impossible for the update to come out today yet - we've still got another ~2-3 hours until that 16:00 deadline.

 

but updates after 16. is very few

I did have that in mind specifically, yes. We saw the full reveal not long before the update and the crazy config just before the update dropped. Same for the 0.27 Rock Basher.

I'd say worst case next Monday. With the creator branch issues/updates I'd mentally consider yesterday to be the creator branch release. They usually give the CC's a couple of days, which at least one CC I know of has been open about how tight of a schedule that is to get a decent video scripted/filmed/edited so maybe the team will start extending that time window eventually

 

That is very true, but many of the updates tend to release between 13:30 (which is coming up in about 10 minutes) and 16:00 (still two and a half hours away). I can understand wanting to call it at 14:00, considering the recent update release trend, but I still feel like 16:00 is a good time to expect the update by if it is going to release today.

 

Hopefully the update releases within the next few minutes, because I'm about to leave on vacation.
