Well I can't work this one out. If I download and put in my mods folder the file above (post #637), it doesn't show up in my game at all. No parts, no configs, nothing. When I downloaded the latest repo version, however, and copied the files above across to it, it works absolutely fine. Any ideas? I know that there were issues with getting the repo to work and it appears (for me) this has stopped working?

Then why implement it in the first place if it cannot be fixed?

The headache rack is an official part for the T-series(made by the devs, not me) and is slotted in as part of the fifth wheel so I can't just disable it for the t70 setups.

I thought I had fixed those issues but I guess I'll have to re-investigate.

Everything in the mod will work without having any other mods installed.

Now that we got the TV80, I got a proposal: get a way to swap out the 370L fuel tank steps in the TV70 with the shorter 300L fuel tank steps found in the T60, since the 370L variants clip with the rear axles on some frame pairings. i tried to do it myself, but node positioning is not my thing.

(Yes, I know that sort of wheelbase makes no sense for the T-Series, but my brain keeps telling me it does. Probably too much playing around with the Wentward 5000.)

I have officialy done it: i put the 300L fuel tanks where the TV70's 370L's should be. And thus, I present to you:

    Screenshot2024-09-11202034.png

    THE MOST CURSED TV80 T-SERIES.

(It's rather janky, being a 5-minute JBEAM coding work and all, but I say it works well.)

I have never posted on any of these forums before (that I can remember) but it needs to be said: this is probably the best mod in beam.ng. Keep up the good work. It all looks awesome and I love the trucks.

    Glad you enjoy it

You can make suggestions though no guarantees as to whether or not I actually implement them into the mod.

Just my thought, it might be better to wait until after the next game update to add to the mod, so anything you make doesn’t immediately break in the update

I won't start on anything until the next update though there are a few little things I had in the works so may as well them release now. The mod is gonna need a major rework with the coming update regardless.

    Update 0.57
    - Added Inter-Frame mounted airtanks.
    screenshot_2024-09-12_02-32-192.png
    - Added an under-frame AKA weed-burner exhaust.
    screenshot_2024-09-17_01-27-132.png
    - Reworked T60 hood to use the regular hood slot.
    - Added a headache rack option for T70 setups.
    - Added the air tanks and exhaust to a few configs

Bad news: 0.33 reorganized how the frames are put together. Altough not all these concepts made it into vanilla, I can officially say this mod is dead.

    Is he tho?

if that's true, it's a sad day. This was probably my favorite mod this year.

Nah, but I have shared some stuff with him.

Sad way to end the YEAR, actually. The damage to our mods is so great that I highly doubt that any of them will get fixed.
