Yeah that trailer was mid. I guess Universal tried their best, but it just doesn't look like a good movie.
I was yesterday years old when I learned "Zootopia" has a "Breaking Bad" (never watched it, all of my knowledge is from "Mythbusters") reference.
I heard that their making a "Zootopia 2" But I have no idea is this is true. I looked it up and all I got was fandom crap. Any idea if this is real or not? ("Zootopia" is one of my family's favorite movies fyi) Just curious. I don't wanna risk going through THAT fandom to find out.
Yeah. One of Zootopia's villains makes a vague reference to an offscreen 'Walt and Jesse' during a phone call: Walter White and Jesse Pinkman being the two primary protagonists in Breaking Bad. The same scene also depicts a laboratory set up in an abandoned metro car: a feature of the film's plot, but also reminiscent of the Fleetwood Bounder that served as the main characters' lab-on-wheels for an appreciable part of BB. And coming from someone who doesn't really care for television at large: you should probably watch Breaking Bad at some point. The writing holds up, the performances are second to none, its Netflix follow-up is decent and the prequel series is damn near perfect, and it does itself the honor of running for exactly the right amount of time: it ends before it has a chance to drag (with probably the best TV finale in history, I might add). And also—forgive me if I fail to articulate this properly—it's just really iconic for a crime series. Maybe I haven't watched enough crime fiction, but since crime films/shows take place in a contemporary and grounded world, there aren't usually objects, characters, or scenes that retain their identity the way more fantastical fiction does. You might remember that cool scene from the Departed where Matt Damon composes and sends a text with the phone in his pocket the whole time, but it'll never be as distinct as Star Wars' lightsabers, LOTR's hobbit houses, the Matrix's Sentinels, or MIB's neuralizers. But to tell you the truth, I'm not sure I'm capable of looking at desk bells, plastic barrels, battered chicken, or tarantulas in jars without thinking back to Breaking Bad. Hell, it's got its own lore.
Anyone know japanese or are familiar with japanese cars? I wanted to know what are these cars used for Edit: note that Government vehicles (police,etc...) have the Imperial seal in place of the car's brand. The all-black car might be a government's official car, but what are the others? Edit 2 : I searched it up, the third white car with a green stripe, written "JR" is a Japan Railways maintenance car Edit 3 : @LegThePeg found them at page 2356! Thanks to him!
nissan primera wagon, nissan versa (known as Tiida in japan), toyota probox, hummer h1, toyota hiace, and idk about the bus
I have never seen a Nissan Tiida being used as a police cruiser here, at least where I live. But I did see Nissan Versas being used as police cars here in my country.
I dont think any of these cars are police cars. Japanese police cars comes in a black and white scheme (patrol) and in a white paint with blue stripes (special/riot) Also, Government vehicles have the Imperial seal in place of the car's brand. I guess the all-black one is used for government officials, but what are the others?
The Hummer looks as if it might be a riot control vehicle, and the Probox appears to be a service vehicle for JR Coaches and Buses.
Yes, turns out "JR" simply meant "Japan Railways" Also, I don't think the hummer is a police vehicle, as riot/swat trucks are white with blue stripes. I could be wrong though
Ah, most likely a security or maintenance vehicle then. Also, the bus kinda looks like a riot control bus, considering the reinforced cage on the top and a turret that most likely fires rubber bullets.
Apple has a feature where it can pull and translate text in images, I'll download these images and give it a try.
