I've noticed a minor issue with the Convertible models where a part of the rear window peaks through the trunk when the roof is down. The peak ranges from slight to moderate (at random) and is visible on both the early and late models. Doesn't interfere with anything, just my ocd noticing and reporting on it.
I did get the demo but when I got the paid mod, WORTH THE MONEY THIS MOD IS GREAT Though it is not developer work, IT'S BEYOND DEVELOPER WORK 10/10 MOD.
Hello. Just wondering if there will be new configs and if you need to repay if you add it or will it be free for people who already bought the mod?
Hi, I've just bought this mod for my son, neither of us know how to get it onto the game! Sorry, I'm totally useless at computer stuff and my son is only 11 and still learning! Can anyone explain how I install the mod onto the game please?! He's sooooo desperate to get playing with it! Thank you
On the game launcher, click 'Manage User Folder' (or something along those lines) and open the current game version's folder. Open the mods folder located in the game version folder, and put the ZIP file of the mod in the mods folder. That's it. Don't unzip it.
the easiest way I have found is to open the game normally to the main menu go to the mods section click on open mod folder and then drag and drop the mod file in the folder if you have previously installed the demo then after you have installed the mod you will need to uninstall that and then open the game to the little white menu then click support tools clear cache then standard cache clear and for mod configs for the mod I reccomend you download this config pack https://www.beamng.com/resources/farmers-dynamo-config-pack.31227/ --- Post updated --- if you want I can record a video when I get home
Did this mod get updated or something? I don't remember seeing a convertible in the configs, but then again, idk how to update mods that aren't on the repo... Edit: Nvm, double checked, and I have more configs than I remembered lol Forgot how cool it was XD
well to update non repo mods. its real simple. you delete the mod and you get teh new file from where u bought it then put it back in so delete it and get the new one
Open BeamNG > click on "Repository" > click on "Mods Manager" tab > click on "Open mods folder" > drag and drop file into there !! Just in case !! >>> if there is no mods folder, simply create one. Just name it "mods". All lower case. You're done! I hope it helped!
Hello! Came to report a bug regarding the retractable soft top. Besides "the spike", the trunk door also gets completely crumpled when trying to raise the roof. From my observation, this happens because the roof tries to raise itself immediately, even before the trunk is fully opened. The front of the roof also sometimes gets caught on the metal deck plate on the trunk door.
I've reworked the roof code for a future update. The old code runs of fps rather than real time, so if your game is running really fast it will break like that. I've also fixed the spike and removed a bunch of unnecessary jbeam crap that was slowing it down and complicating things so it'll be a lot smoother, faster, and consistent.
Oh, lovely to hear! What would you define as "really fast" btw, because besides gridmap my game usually never passes 40 FPS. I also have a 75 FPS limiter.
I love your work. The demo was beautiful and fun to drive. I got the full version from the Patreon. The late model configs have missing textures for me and I can quite figure out why
Did you clear your cache, i have the full version and it works fine as is, no missing textures or anything. Also make sure you remove the demo version if you get the full version
hello mod is broken for me at least I don't know if it might be another mod interfering with it or if it's for everybody or if its fixed just reply to this if it is just me having problems or if its broken
Im not having any issues, make sure to deep clear your cache and make sure you get rid of the demo version if you bought the full version --- Post updated --- Did you unlatch the roof before pressing the button in the interior to open the roof
