Hello, I am new to using the world editor. I have a problem that when I exit the map and restart the game, all the roads are deleted. They appear in the SceneTree section but they are not visible on the map. Is there a solution?

Are you still in edit mode in the architect tool? Rather than render. Otherwise, I'm not sure I can help.

In the architect, the top left button, I think. It says something like render when you hover over it.

Yeah, it might not be the problem though, I've read elsewhere that people have had problems loading the saved roads.
    --- Post updated ---
From a Reddit post (not my words):

The road doesn't save upon saving the level. I had to give it its own folder in my map and save the json file there. So every time I save the level, I have to remember to manually save the roads too. The position, however, doesn't seem to save.

When you manually load the roads, the position doesn't save. Loading the roads can cause them to be way up in the air, or somewhere else entirely (in edit mode). When I tried moving the road back to where it should be, it seemed to work, but going into render mode I realized I was only moving one single node the entire time.

I don't understand, when I try to move the node it just doesn't let me, and the sidewalks are eliminated.

I had the same issue. What I think it was is that the roads needs to be in rendered mode and then you save the level. Because when I reloaded the level, the roads were still there, compared to if I saved it in edit mode. If I saved it in edit mode, the roads get deleted on the next map reload, as there were no roads to keep, just a visualization

Yes, in fact it works like that, the problem I have is that when I reload the map, the sidewalks are not saved.

I haven't been able to get the road architect to save properly at all.

Scenario 1: Created roads, saved while in render mode
    - All the roads were baked into the map as objects and couldn't be edited. Nothing would show under road architect.

Scenario 2: Created roads, left in edit mode, saved the road architect session
    - Roads all disappeared. When I tried to load the road architect session they reappear but there is a 0 height rectangle around a portion of my map that's about 1 block wide. The weirdest part is if I load the session (which breaks the level), then reload the level without changing anything, my roads appear and without the holes in the map

Any ideas on what to try? Saving the session works except for the heightmap corruption issue.
