There is a EUDM H-Series mod but it is outdated. It works, but no doors open and the model has some shading issues
It's not really a European van like I'm talking about though, it's the same size as the H-Series, has the same engines, only real difference is its design. Feels more like a USDM redesign of the H-Series, like the third generation Dodge Ram Van. Anyways, I think this game also needs a lightweight sports car of some sort. Maybe a British one from the 1960s, since the UK and the 1960s are both underrepresented in the vanilla game and in mods. I'd imagine that the car's styling would be a mix of Lotus Elite and TVR Grantura. It'd have a few small I4s, from 1 liter up to 1.8 liters, and the Bluebuck's 291 CI V8.
2003-2009 ETK K-Series - Driving, Redefined. Lore: After the first generation K-Series ended production in 2001, ETK revealed the 2nd generation K a few months later at the 2002 Tokyo Auto Show. European and Asian market buyers got to experience the K first, in summer of 2002. The rest of the world got in in spring of 2003, due to the different changes in regulations. The inline 6 from the facelifted first gen K was kept for most of the production until a newer inline 6 was introduced, but with minor upgrades including a bigger output, along with it being 3.0 now instead of the old 2.4. It got a new 2.0 inline 4, and a performance 3.2 inline 6 inherited from the 2 year old 800-Series. This generation was the last to retain the cabriolet body style. An automated manual was optional alongside a regular 5-speed automatic, and a 6-speed manual. In 2006, the K got a MYO (Model-Year Overhaul, fancy ETK word for facelift) which included a new inline 6, the introduction of the coupe models, ttSport models, updated front end styling, and the new "Adaptive Steering Assist" which adjusted steering input based on the angle of turns and the conditions of the road. The K was discontinued in 2009 until the introduction of the coupe only 3rd generation K in 2013. TRIMS 4-Cylinder: Kc4, Kc4 Touring, Kc4 Coupe, Kc4S, Kc4S 6-Cylinder: Kc6, Kc6 Coupe, Kr6, Kr6 Coupe, Kr6S, Kr6S Coupe, Kr6S ttSport Touring is the "Comfort" model, like luxury focused. Custom Configs: Stance: Big rims and riding the floor. It's all show and escape here. Street Tune: Wheels, paintjob, and engine mods, to a slight degree. Its no biggie here. Amateur Track: Lightly modified Kc6 to teach newbies the track. Pro Track: $50k gone, fully modded coupe in. It's on another level, almost GTR but not quite. GTR: Racing coupe version made to withstand Le Mans for 24 hours, with a widebody, center lug rims, and a hefty V8 made specifically for this. And racing accessories like nothing before. and some more stuff i made
My favourite car irl is the Seat 600, the Spanish counterpart of the Fiat 600, however, even though we already have the piccolina it doesn't really resemble it in some aspects so I guess it could only be reserved for a mod and not a vanilla vehicle. Then there's the Citroen 2cv which I also admire... But the ultimate vehicle that could be a possible addition to beamng is the Ford Transit 2011 van, which could also have motorhome variants and I'd love to see it!! We don't have any European van yet so it would fit perfectly Like this Benimar Sport 310 E with a Ford Transit engine 2.2L 140CV I used to have something like this until it was sold to another owner.... I really loved this car and I miss it a lot
Those are rally good drawings, but I feel like the styling needs to have unique elements, rather than looking like carbon-copies of BMWs.
I personally have many car ideas here are a few: Burnside comet, late 60s-early 70s American muscle car like a Dodge superbee Civetta Falco, 1950s racecar, Ferrari body shape Bruckell Python, late 90s muscle car influenced by mustang Gavril maverick, early 2010s to early 2015s sedan like a civic sedan or ford fusion ETK n-series, late 2010s sports car heavily influenced by the bmw m-series cars m2 or m3
I am going to start making a large atv/quad bike mod. This seems like the right thing for me to make as it is in demand (atv mods are few and far between) and they are easier to make than a normal car, which is good for me as i am new to modding (yeah and i tried making an actual car called the autobello stretto, it flopped so hard and then i tried to remake it, and then i realised making cars was just too ambitious for now) . I feel like this new quad would be a blast around the "industrial" map --- Post updated --- Oh, and it would be repo freindly too, because i'm not making a real-life replica of anything exactly
a small panel van like the Volkswagen, with a 'cut frame' option to resemble the picture below. the interior could be empty with optionable roof liner or door panels. there'd be two body options, one of which has windows along the side, and one that has panels in place of the windows as seen on the image. i feel like a quirky, odd-looking vehicle such as this would fit in great with BeamNG and could be produced by Ibishu or Autobello. It would be fitted with a microbus engine, with a gasoline fuel tank. The 'window body' would have an option to add passenger seats, while the 'cargo' variant has the option for the usual mattress/crate/armchairs. I dream of a vehicle like this being added. There are similar automation mods, but none of them have openable doors and the majority are just meshslaps. I'd love to have customizable skins for the vehicle as well, maybe even one that has the stripes or melon-like design shown in the image as a fun nod to the image below. I'd love to see an optionable spare tire mounted on the front! (The below image is a photo of an abandoned van in my hometown that I cannot find the model of. I assume it's a modified Volkswagen, but I'm still unsure. It was painted as a watermelon for the fourth of July parades around the 70's-80's but was eventually left to rust on the side of the highway going out of town and has since been rotting away for the past few decades.)
