0.33 Discussion Thread

It appears that, when test driving in career mode, the gear up and gear down buttons are inoperative, so the car can only idle in place.

Have you played career mode? There's tons of trucking related things that are already implemented. We also go the BX remaster in the last update.

 

did they change the driving through water sound
whenever it was changed it sounds god awful

It could but I haven't seen it yet in my game. AI spawning is most definitely broken.

 

The new thumbnail generator and its long-awaited ability to generate thumbnails on a per-config basis is a godsend...



...but it doesn't seem like anti-aliasing works on it at the moment.

 

I think it’s cement powder, so you’d need a concrete truck, but I don’t know.

 

if only config saving also worked with saving any damages if done to the car (so we could make our own little beater configs

game bug to report: the save and load feature for saving a car's damage and loading it after resetting is kinda broken in a way that when you load the damages it breaks all door latches

 

The new UI includes this handy button to quickly buy Commercial insurance if you didn't buy it at the time of vehicle purchase. However, every time you click it it erases that amount of money without buying the insurance.

 

Any reason why the "Copy PID" button has been removed from world editor inspector? Are persistent IDs not working properly?

 

The UI goes beyond the screen if there are too many elements. I tried a delivery with many small boxes and I wasn't able to submit the delivery in career mode

 

I mean detailed versions. of course theyre playable but they dont have interiors or 99% of the customization/detail

This update is awesome and all, but still hoping to see a fix for the auto exposure

Can we please have auto exposure working again in the next update? Since update 0.27 it has been broken. In 0.25, modders were able to drastically improve the lighting of the game by brightening up the sunsky settings, but auto exposure is needed to keep the game from appearing overbright and washed out.

Something i noticed with old Pessima,
with 0.32 it got new i4 2.0L engine sound but with 0.33 it got reverted back to old pre 0.32 sound,
idk if it was accidental or intentional, personally i prefer new new 0.32 sound.

 

"A suspect is fleeing from you" message doesn't work with simplified traffic vehicles.

 

Is anyone else getting oil starvation issues with the T-Series?

 

Not sure if this is intended to work like this or a bug. But in world editor Hiding a folder does not hide anything in that folder. In 0.32 it would hide everything in the folder, but in 0.33 it doesnt seem to do that.

 

Yep, the V8 is prone to oil starvation. Added this to my list of mistakes too!

 

N2O and JATO levels issue
Hi, seems like N20 and JATO toggles somehow connected to each other when JATO installed on T83 Drag (M) version.
Heres screenshots of what I mean:

2. N2O activated, JATO - K button not pressed, but level decreased simultaneously, as so activation of both features:

3. When level of N2O is near to end, activation of JATO (by pressing K) increased it back as current level of JATO:


and finally 4. When trying to use N2O again - levels back to last state of N2O. Also equal levels:

 

There is still the bug that when you redline the T Series, sometimes you can’t shift up anymore until you slow down enough to drop auf of the red rpms

 

I have not updated yet because of pc issues so forgive me if this has been added, but I think the lightrunner track editor should be updated to use the new road editor.
