Is it possible to make the railway loop much bigger, like having a very long straight section for spectacular derailments at the end? Just from the main airport to the main town will do...
I wanted to add a track to the town near the airport and add a track to the open cut mine back when I updated the loop however I don't know what the best way to add switches is. I had an idea of programming functionality with Lua but there's no documentation on how to modify world objects. Adding props is an option but I am not confident with this and would rather the first option.
Here's an idea, you can make a second huge loop that simply circles the entire map instead. The map is large enough to do so after all...
I am currently working on a double track train track mod for river highway (which I'm planning for personal use), and I think that loads of people might like the idea of double track, and I just need your permission to upload this mod once I'm ready to upload. sincerely lolwhat. I would prefer a straight track that circles the entire map, only cornering at the edges of the map. I'm pretty sure that would cause some spectacular derailments. I wish placing tracks was easy, like the road tool...

hello, i appear to have the same issue Xenith Xenaku had, where the terrain is completly gone and i just end up falling in the water. However, when i try to delete the folder in the levels folder as he did, it simply reapers whenever i launch the map and the problem starts all over again If anybody had the same issue i had can they clearly explain what they did to fix it please ?
Did you clear your cache? Edit: also make sure you are using the latest version of the game, it should work in 0.32 as that is what I used. One of the previous updates involved upgrading the terrain to the latest verision (iirc v9) and switched to the PBR materials. I don't know what its effect is, it may be the cause of the problems.
Hello, This is my favorite track on BNG, and I drive it every day. However, since the 0.33 release, I'm unable to launch it as it freezes my PC during the track loading process. I've already cleared the cache and disabled all mods except this one, redownloaded the mod... but I still can't access the map. All of my other tracks are working fine. Could this be due to an incompatibility issue with version 0.33? Best regards,
I tested the map in the latest version, it still works. I have no idea what the cause could be. Seeing any logged errors in the console (if possible) would be useful, that's all I can say for now.
Thank you, I've switched to Dx11 and the map is loading and working. I guess it's an issue with Vulkan. Update: Now I use Vulkan and it also work, i guess once the DX11 fixed it, Vulkan is fixed also
I have a solution to the AI not following road lanes correctly (well, confirmed only partially). I wrote a script to duplicate all the roads and make them narrower and invisible (but visible/drivable to AI).
Hello, I got a problem, i downloaded the map and did everything to get the map in game. When i get in the game i just fall into water. There are trees and decoration but there isn't terrain. Does anyone knows how to fix it?
Extra notes: AI traffic is only partially supported. Expect vehicles to not properly follow the center of marked lanes and to have trouble at intersections and bridges. So you created realistic USA traffic??
The only way they could make it more realistic is to have random people who brake way too much when going into any sort of curve in the road
