1) PEGI 3 was the result of the questionnaire we filled, simple as that 2) the requirements are kept minimal intentionally, we have quite a few players on older OSes - its work on the code to keep it compatible with win7.... 3) we never brag, that's not in our DNA
Nothing changes in the way we work on the game or so. Epic games store is just another distribution channel like humble bundle. Some people hate Steam, so there they have epic to go then
some comments from my side: 1) DLCs might come, but not right now. We feel its not a finished experience right now. 2) why do you have to loose money to make money on epic? We invested some hours to port the publish to epic, but in the future its just another platform to have the game on. 3) we highly value your opinions on things, but this is really complex and economically very carefully planned.
certainly not happening! If we ever offer something else for sale, it will be worth the money. We are gamers ourselves and hate lootboxes, etc as much as you all do
i would like to understand why please: 1) why is it anti-consumer? Its the same concept as steam? 2) the platform exclusivity and "released on epic first" is just a way for them to get users onto their platform, they have a long way to catch up with steam in terms of users using the platform. I don't think you can blame them, and most devs then release after on other platforms 3) the backend services (EOS) seems good enough? What's the problem with that? Also note that the EOS services are available on all platforms, steam only for steam. This is a huge problem for most devs. Why is epic any more anti-consumer than steam or Humble bundle or GoG, it's all the same concept?! Looking forward to your feedback
no exclusivity happening, we are very protective of our current players and will always try to never disappoint them
i think the anti consumer stuff is them having exclusivity deals with some AAA games and other stuff so it not being able to be published on gog/steam/whatever else PC store --- Post updated --- lootbox to unlock previously free vanilla cars sounds like a great idea that not even the smartest EA games shareholders could muster
And my ""Only-70mb-avalable-when-202mb-needed"-when-I-had-707GB-avalable" caused complete data loss, updating 0.31 to 0.32 and then again with 0.32-0.33, completely screwed my chances of that happening to me and my 800+ hours of playtime. PLEASE FIX THIS FOR 0.34!!! (Will provide details if asked.)
Y'all are forgeting the most important thing here, MORALS, the dev team and others have shown that they care about the community this is just a way to get more of a playerbase if epic tried anything I have faith in the devs to pull the game from the store because they have done things to support the community that they themselves created. Just look at how many devs are past modders, and all the consistent free updates since 2015. The devs have been good to us trust them with this. And also how many other game developers are taking your concerns and REPLYING TO THEM!
I appreciate the response - this is why I love this dev team and would happily throw money at some merch if y'all made any. (Not DLC because I personally feel that DLC goes against the point of selling a complete game/simulator.) Thanks again!
can you peeps calm down beamng is known for their notoriously awesome devteam and would not sell their soul to epic now i dont understand why you people think expanding the games' audience is a bad idea help me understand your logic, please.
