Hey, you're doing good work! I heard that Yandex Maps made 3D of Saint-Peterburg. Maybe you could use it somehow for city far objects or LODs

 

Bro, what wrong with letters at the signs? Fonts are different from IRL.

 

Hi. As I know, Yandex made 3D models only for some attractions. Most of them are located too far from the road and are not necessary

I tried to find which font is used on Russian road signs, but different sites have different information. I use «direct trans» font. Maybe you know which font is used specifically on this road. I can change that.

 

I think I found what font is being used: GOST 10807-78 (I could be wrong)

Current map progress:
The factory and port areas in the south are almost ready.
The entire highway is ready, but I also need to create interchanges and signs for the southern part.

I liked working on this project, so I decided not to stop there and continue to develop the road system of St. Petersburg in the future.
After the WHSD I will create the western part (~80km) of the ring road of St. Petersburg (blue in the image)
I also decided to make a paid early access for people who want to support my project and play on map before public release (map will be released for free wnen WHSD will be completely ready (orange and green in image)). It will be available on my patreon/boosty next week.

I love you man, literally thus map is all i wanted, im having so much fun, playing police chases or just cruising with another car fast, and adding 22 traffic cars into it , i hope to see this map getting finished and in the near future when ill be able to ill support your project too.....

Thank you. Free release will be in one or two months. This will be fair for my paid subscribers and I will be able to finish whsd
