At least it didn't say anything bad tho, it gave you a pretty decent summary tbh. It's something anyone could find out themselves by searching your username and skimming through the sites you're on. Bing Copilot does the exact same thing, but it gives a way more summarised version (and tries to emulate a conversation by asking a question in return)
I asked about myself and it told me I was a famous YouTuber posting beamng content. If famous means 380 subscribers then I’m suprised
First of all, there’s 8 billion people other than all of us out there. If you don’t give the exact form of your name (Like big and small letters in the start and the end, depending what your username starts with) or any other form of info, the AI might misunderstand it and tell you something completely random and incorrect. (Like how @LegThePeg did. Basically, give the AI your exact same username with the exact same info and letter and all for it find you. The intelligence machine you are using could give you the wrong info just because of a simple mistake (like not capitalizing a single letter in your message to the AI) Second of all, the AI machine / site you are using matters quite a bit on the type of results they give out. Bing and ChatGPT-3 seem to give out less clear messages with less info compared to something like ChatGPT-4, the newer version of the normal GPT. Though in the comparison Bing seems to be more accurate and detects the names more oftenly, even them some with all non-capitalized letters and not clear info about the name (Like putting the name in quotations, witch REALLY matters with the GPTs, I didn’t do it for a first time and it literally gave a me paragraph about all info available on Diesel Dacia Dusters (The fact that 90% of them were made with Romania-only specs did surprise me though)) Third of all, AI keeps like a billion terabytes of endless memory and info on different topics in their servers and all stuff like that, naturally, sometimes it could take some time for them to update their outdated info on some topic you’re looking for. Especially since they have to browse millions of sites to find that outdated info and replace it with newer info on that topic. (For example, a couple of months ago, I asked GPT-4 who “RealVector” is, witch at the time, was VinsWie’s new username that he had replaced with the old one because of some scam issue. And their username was basically new, so I think the AI didn’t know that such change happened with the username of this user, so it gave me some absolutely non related stuff on the topic of the bad guy in the Despicable Me movie witch was named Vector as most of you know. The AI still thought the username was VinsWie and gave the correct info upon hearing that. Which was incorrect obviously, it has been fixed since just like ya’ll saw with the screenshot I shared a page back. So do expect some outdated info with some of the info you receive from the AI. Mostly they rank the fast info updates for the big and popular sites like Wikipedia, and then some (sadly) less popular sites like The BeamNG community. Do have these stuff in mind when asking AI for some info when you’re looking for it, and for those who don’t know how to access GPT or Bing, just search ChatGPT on your browser and it should load up the main site for you to go in and work with the AI. And for bing, it available by default on Microsoft edge sidebar afaik.
I hate AI so much I’ve removed it completely from my work and life. Literally the worst thing to ever exist
Well, I asked with correct capitalization, and it still gave me the same answer, despite the fact that if you search my username you will find all of my respective profiles, including BeamNG, Steam, Modland, Brawl Stars, Fortnite, and even my EV.io profile. --- Post updated --- It did find tdev though
I'm sure you have your reasons for thinking that way, but I disagree. I will say I do dislike the trends of AI generated art, if only on principal alone, but art is a hobby of mine so perhaps I am heavily biased. But I locally run an AI chat client, and it's only ever been a help to me. Whether it's just something to generate or expand on ideas, or something to overcome a creative block - I also like to use it for RP or story telling as it usually plays characters rather well. I also use Bing Copilot a lot when doing research online as it seems to find webpages I'd probably never have found myself without hours of mindless searching. I do believe that it's a little overhyped right now though, it seems to have become more of a marketing buzzword in recent months.
Apparently bussin creates bus mods. This is news. --- Post updated --- Definitely has become a buzzword. Everyone has to use "AI Integration" in their website to compete. Hell, even Wendy's is using AI at some of their drive-thrus! --- Post updated --- --- Post updated --- No way GPT is giving me advice on how to get a virus???
