    So, i am working on improving the replay system right now and I'm wondering what you all would like to see improved.

    Attached is a early debug version of it.

    Right now, i am adding a feature that allows to record in higher FPS than the game is running in.

    So, what are your feature requests regarding replay?

    An option to change resolution?
    An option to export it to a video? (mp4?)
    An option to lock the camera angle? (record at a specific angle)
    An option to record the whole screen? (like if you were using an external recorder like OBS)

    An option so you could change vehicle without it breaking/stopping the recording would be awesome (especially for beammp)

    I'd like to see the weird jitter once you pause the replay reduced so you could see the cars better (you can mitigate this by playing the replay in slow motion then pausing but still).

    Some way for vehicle Lua to see if a replay is running. Could be a mailbox or entirely through the c++ side (like a global variable).

    A few suggestions from using the tool

    Whenever using traffic in a replay, the colours flicker due to traffic outside of the replay having respawned and changed colour. This makes for some off-putting playback, so it'd be neat if you were able to prevent the flickering, or maybe lock it onto one specific colour throughout? No idea if either is possible though.

    Another thing to note is if you have any replays where you turn the engine on and the lights turn on or off, or you go into reverse, the spotlight/prop flickers, so throughout that entire replay you'll have the lights flickering, and it makes recording replays or movie work really difficult, because there's not really a way around it which sucks.

    Being able to click a button to fast-forward or rewind the replay live without having to toggle between frames could be cool, maybe a separate UI as well to do this, as well as some buttons instead of keybinds to skip forward say, 5 seconds or however long it is, if that makes any sense.

    These are the main things off the top of my head, may dump some more here as well.

    Oh yeah, a way to replay the gauge/UI app state during it would be great as well.

    like I mentioned in the Camera path Editor feedback thread, I'd like the time to be manually adjustable after recording a Replay. for some reason, as soon as I start playback, the time and lighting settings all go back to default.

    I think that's an issue on your end, I've never experienced this issue before, Even in the earliest versions of the replay editor. Perhaps it's an issue with BeamMP

    When it's the UI Replay app, then it will be cool when this bugs will be fixed:
    -Light reflection off-on bug

    that's not an issue, it does auto stop the replay if you replace vehicles.

    I thought he meant just change cars with Tab, not replace them. In that case, yeah. It does that for me too.

    im not sure if its a bug in 0.33, but when im skimming through footage on a replay and i fast forward the replay pauses (instead of keep playing from the new timestamp), you have to unpause the replay every time you fast forward and its extremely annoying, this didnt happen in the previous update,

    any way to fix this?

    I know this is a big ask.
    A better way of handling parts that detach from the car, getting rid of the jittery/shaky parts. It really take you out of a epic crash moment, when the the cab or other big parts shaking all over the place.
    Is it to much data to record if all parts are independent ? And not connected to the ref points of the car?
    Any improvement is very welcome :)

    Fixing the buggy prop handling after the last 2 game updated. The steering wheels, cooling fans or axles skipping around (changing rotation angle) after they should be not moving (stopped rotating)

    The lights in the replay is blinking on and off. Happened maybe 2 updates ago.

    All that being said. You all are doing a fantastic job with this game. Have been playing since 2013, still not tired of it :D

    - Ability to replay speedometers (UI app)
    - Ability to change time of day on replay

    Related to Camera Path and Replays
    - (issue) Camera paths are usually linked to a replay, when a new replay is loaded, all paths from other Replays previously created are still visible. If you accidently click into a node that is still linked to a different replay (not the current one), the game crashes

    - (workaround) unlink the Replays from the camera path before working on the new one. Or just delete them.

    - (request) Prevent camera path from other Replays appearing on a new one.

    Moin ;)

    I would particularly like two things. Firstly, the option to continue using the scenery where the playback ends, and secondly, the inclusion of sirens in the playback.
