dang that sucks, thats true though this is not easy so its understandable for him asking for help, personally i have no experience in mods but i hope theres someone out there that can help him out, really been wanting a sn95 mustang for a while for beamng
No, no new modders have the attention-span to learn how to be good at modding, and all the old-school modders who've already put the time and effort into becoming good aren't going to touch something that doesn't invlove money. Honestly I can't really fault any of them for this, but I can complain about it, so I will and I have. ANYWAY. I've decided I'm going to (slowly) rework the whole .Jbeam again, put the place-holder materials back on and then release it here. I'm tired of having this thing looming over me, and the level of detail I want to impart upon it exceeds my skill and freetime, so I'll finish the stuff I CAN finish, and then get this thing out of my life. I hope you all can understand lol
its all good man, you did a great job with what skills you had putting together this mod and i cant really complain since its free, so props for your efforts im sure the mods going to turn out just fine
Well there is still one more idea, why not open a donation pot? If money for their skill and time is what they want, they deserve it. Why not find someone who is willing, and ask how much they want? I would donate some money if it means I get to be rollin' in my 5.0 in game.
I like the Barstow IV, but I was really counting on this SN95 mod working out. It seemed to be coming along so well. I can't blame the guy for stopping though. Modding is a difficult thing to do, especially from scratch.
this mod was pretty much an ancient rehash, not much you can do apart from completely remaking it. guy suggesting a donation thing and ig he didnt take that idea so :/
Yes, but VERY slowly. I have been quite busy IRL and this project has become very back-burner. Recent progress is basically all me trying to fix things I broke while experimenting, once I get past that stage I do still plan to "patch the holes" and dump my "finished" work here. As I've stated previously, I just don't have the time to pour into this thing to make it how I want it to be. I'd post screenshots, but there's not much to show... It's basically all Jbeam tweaks that aren't really visible. Anyway, don't give up hope, but don't expect a miracle either. It's coming along, but it won't be soon. EDIT 3/23/2025: Just wanted to put in perspective exactly how slowly this is being worked on... I've opened BeamNG twice in the past 30 days, one time working on my secret project I've mentioned before, one time working on this, neither times getting much of anything done lol.... when I say very slowly, I mean VERY. Bear with me..................
