Trying to make a drag race mission on a modded map

I've spent the last afternoon banging my head against my desk trying to figure this out.

I want to make a drag race mission (like the ones on west coast and gridmap) on Motorsports Playground, since it has drag strips but no working missions. Problem is, no matter how much I stare at the mission data and files and whatnot for the vanilla ones, I just cannot get it to work. Thus far, I've managed to get an ai car to line up at a line, but past that I have no idea how to actually activate the christmas tree or start the race. Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

I'm in the same situation, I made the mission appear on the map but I haven't been able to make it work yet, as soon as I have progress I will report it, if you can do the same and maybe we can make it work

This post is from 2024 after the latest major update. I actually did manage to make the drag mission work basically 100%. But I can only make one drag mission work on a map, and as soon as I packed it in a mod I got a plethora of lua errors. I might be able to post a guide to how I did it here if you want. I think the 2021 came from me joining the forum on 2021

 

Please, any guide is useful to me, I have not been able to make it work, and in my case I only need it for a single map, effectively the confusion comes from the date you joined the forum, and thanks for the quick response

 

It would be good. I have been trying to do one to. I was hoping the new drag race mission system would be easier but not been able to get it to work either

Me too, investigating I think that it only works if there is a mission created on the map, I need to find out if it is a lack of zone creation, everything is by analyzing the code of the west coast map

 

I have been trying for a long time. I make al races just not done no good with drag races

 

Hi, I didn't want to bother you, but I have tried everything and still have not been able to get the drag race working on the map I am developing. I would like to know if you have done any research on it, thanks
