Either that or it's not refilling the brake air tanks properly.

Yes, it does. They are incredibly touchy when unloaded as well (which is pretty realistic).

Air brake systems do have a bit of delay to them irl, you can very much notice it when driving even modern trucks if you actually pay attention to it. When driving carefully with actual brake pedal you tend to not notice it as much, but it becomes a fun challenge when you try to control braking using binary input :D

Tried and failed. Cannot escape damage in the 1-2nd corner, and failed repeatedly later on in the course.

Any chance of getting shocks for the Rear Suspension? While a lot of really old trucks (pre-70's, with few exceptions) didn't use them, most newer ones do, like the 1992 Topkick I used to drive for work.

While it's true that they don't do much when paired with heavily-stacked leaf springs (your tires absorb more shock at that point), they do dampen the suspension's uncompression as well. As it stands now, the MD tends to "pogo stick" a lot, regardless of whether it's loaded down or not. This is especially noticeable when you attempt to go offroad with it. I used to do dump runs with the Topkick, and the rutting from the large equipment was enough to give the truck a really rough ride, but, not to the amount where my rear tires were hopping off the ground like they do with the Dump Bed MD config.

The frame is very rigid, the weakest suspension is very rigid, and that just leads to massive amounts of bouncing around in the un-dampened rear.

Overall I still really love the vehicle, and it's force feedback is really good, along with the rest of the Polygonal Steering-based suspensions feeling much better in .33 as well, it just feels like a lot of it's potential is limited for now.

Pic of the work truck for tax

yeah I feel like the frame should have more give. even thugh its shorter, therefore harder to flex, there should still be a good amount of give. and I also agree that all the suspension options are way too stiff.

There's something weird going on with the ambulance box wheel wells. Even though the wheels visually clear the bodywork they're still rubbing against something. I tested the off-road ambulance before and after dropping the suspension to normal height. Notice the difference in deceleration rate while coasting in neutral:

Just thought of something: am I the only one who thinks the MD-Series should have a Gooseneck hitch too, apart from the fifth wheel one? I mean, it's a great car to tow the new trailers loaded with hay bales and it's even better than the D-Series at that!

Speaking of hay bales, there should be a hay bale load for the MD-Series and T-Series Flatbeds and for the Flatbed Trailers.

Along with hay bales for the flatbed, the skinnable cardboard box / Tasti Cola load from the Dry Van trailer would be a good addition for the MD and T-Series box truck upfits

Sucks that its too tall for it to tow somewhat normally. Wish we could adjust hitch height to compensate for the height of the MD compared to the D-Series

I was just about to say that. And even if the coupler height is adjusted fully up (0% that is), it still is too low!!

Hell yeah!! We're missing armored trucks in BeamNG and the MD-Series, along with the T-Series, are the perfect candidates for such a vehicle!!

I'd love to smash through barriers with ease in a near indestructible truck. sounds like a good time

Yep! After all, the concept of a realistically indestructible armored truck amongst realistically destructible vehicles would be very interesting to be seen in BeamNG! Car chases would be great with such a truck!!

I say "realistically indestructible" because, of course, there are ways to destroy an armored truck but they certainly require more knowledge, plus BeamNG isn't a game without damage/destruction physics. So I'd love to see the implementation of such a vehicle in the sim!
