Seeing as the career mode now uses a day-night cycle, I would love to see nighttime and how it is represented get some attention. - Black at nighttime is represented as RGB 0,0,0, meaning everything without a lit texture or under dynamic lights is the same brightness. - West Coast USA somewhat infamously doesn't have any streetlights, so with the move to Vulkan, perhaps they could be added without impacting performance too much. - Multiple mods offer brighter headlights with defined beams that clearly illuminate the surroundings.
Looks like the old UI... Anddd also career isn't greyed out anymore. Career mode releasing next update????
I started to think that this 1927 inline-four engine could mean few things. Maybe we will get Ford T-Type ("Gavril B-Type") or maybe Ford A-Type. But getting a 1908 "Gavril B-Type" would start at the moment that cars become important in daily life's. Not to mention that Fort T-Type was most influential car in 20 century.
If you look in the career mode progress tab there is a "Motorsport: Legacy Racing" tab with a description that reads like a "cars of the decade" sort of deal I made a post talking about all of those tabs here
Considering there was talk about someone finding files relating to a possible School Bus variant of the Gavril MD-Series, if you look into the lights section in the common folder, there is a file called "us_trucklightglass_b.color", which is supposed to be one of the main taillight materials for the MD-Series, but if you look within the .DDS file itself, it includes some additional light designs that can be seen on a school bus, further solidifying the possibility of getting said configuration in a future update. (As of typing this, I am not 100% sure if I can post the texture file here in this thread, but for now I'll just put a reference photo with said light designs highlighted in red. Cheers! )
Where was the engine model found? I'm assuming the game files. I haven't really checked this page in a super long time so hearing that there's a slight possiblilty we're getting a pre war car is super cool.
There must be something wrong with my career mode cause I've been playing it for hours now and it doesn't change time at all
I can't understand how no one has fixed the night yet, not even modders, is it really that hard? Even the daylight needs a revamp, the game at noon looks terrible because it has the sun perfectly vertical like at equinox on the Equator, making the shadows as small as possible. Why don't each map have a realistic latitude setup for the Sun? Right now the only way to have the game look good is at sunset and that's it
