If I can figure out how to add reverse gears or smth --- Post updated --- Thats what happens when you make an engine that matches the Canon specs, but don't go about editing everything else to make it work
Now that Ballistik is released, Im going to work on updating all currently released cars, improving their performance and adding interiors. Any and all feedback regarding performance changing is greatly appreciated
Update out now!! --- Post updated --- Cruise Bruiser is getting a minor performance, audio, and visuals update. Will be vastly different from the other cars as its design is based on a derby car, so I'm hoping to make it perform good on dirt tracks
Want an opinion here, how much beamng/code side modification would i have to do to these cars for them to be considered a normal beamng mod and not an automation mod? would be nice if i could have them not get buried in the automation mod tab
So far as I've seen & heard, a lot. Take the Gavril Vertex for example; the entire thing basically got remade from the ground up - and I'm not 100% sure, but I believe they even remodelled the entire outer shell, so very little "automation" remains. I suppose there are easier ways of doing it without remaking everything, but that might end up being no better than a classic "mesh-slap" unfortunately and there'd be little reason to do it as it wouldn't massively improve the quality either. It sure is a shame your cars are getting lost in the sea of automation ports tho, bc they're def some of the better ones out there - but maybe the fact that they're HotWheels is actually what's turning most regular users away as they prefer more realistic or complete replica cars (or maybe I'm totally wrong idk, it's just a thought)
i figured out how to get automation to animate the interior for me, so now i just gotta fix the performance cause it just wants to oversteer like crazy at low speeds, and then understeer so much it goes straight at high speeds in other words, animating interiors will be much quicker now
