is this a good first car ?

i have decided on my first car when im 16 but i wanna have some feedback is this a yeah or a nah ?

In my humble opinion that is a goated first car. Super reliable and good looking too, youll just wanna look out for rust

 

thx but i would have prefered the estate versions but i couldnt find any from where i live

You want an old car as your first car though, no point buying a $20,000 car just to crash it in a month

a subaru outback id recommend one just buy one from 97 to 05 that is my recommended years for this car

 

I only have one thing to take note on this since I know a thing or two about old Benzes. W123s, especially early ones were REALLY rare with airbags, because it was an expensive option that not a whole lot of people got and they didn't come as standard (This was the early 80's, people back then loathed on having to wear seat-belts and manufacturers were doing everything they could at trying to keep passengers safe.) Finding one that has them is about as rare as finding a 600 Größer for very cheap. However, if all things considered, I'd question if it even has it, because it's not that uncommon for people to throw in some tidbits and etc just to pitch the car "better", like, the seller claims that it has all these options, but come to find out, it doesn't.

All I can say is, if you're really serious about buying that car, I'd convince one of your parents to check it out in person first before making that financial decision.

oh thx for the info luckily they did have good safety as i did see some crash test and they still hold up also
it was a euro only option i do live in europe however it was 1200 euros so i think ill have some trouble but thx for the info
