Devs... just why ?

so I wanted to post a mod update, and I'm not allowed to add more than 10 pictures to the update description.
And after that, I tried to add more pictures in the MAIN PAGE of the mod, and I'm still limited to 10.
Just, what's the point of doing this ? is it temporary ? is it the same for everyone ?


with the new thumbnail creator, and now this, i'm starting to think that the developpers want people to stop making mods.

I don't think it would work, I already tried to add images to older update overall and it didn't worked

 

Probably just so people don't have mod posts filled entirely with images, the forums become impossible to navigate if every post has more than 10 images, and it means that the number of posts per forum page are then limited. Try to step back and think about if all 10 photos are really necessary or if you should remove some of them

 

so now we can only have 10 images on the main page of the mod ? how are we gonna show configs and other things ? couldn't it be a files size limitation instead ?

It's a config mod, I'm not gonna select wich config I show or not, the best solution would be to post 0 images.

i think 15 images limit would be great my ideal image limit is 17 but the forums are managed by the devs

 

there were non before. but it has nothing to do with the file size, does it?

 

biggest file size ive seen is 1.3 gigs i dont think we need one

 

was it a recurent problem to have the previous mod versions disapeared ?
