Realistic tachometer for the new Gavril MD

    The actual redline for this truck is about 2500 RPM but the tachometer goes much higher, about twice as high from what I recall, and there's no indicated redline either. A realistic tachometer would better reflect the actual engines used.

    not to be that guy (sorry) but this is actually not that uncommon. lots of light and medium duty trucks of that era were made like that so they could use one gauge cluster for for all applications/all engines.

    No it's fine by me to have a healthy discussion, and what you say makes sense and I've thought of it too, but the MD series (which is fictional of course) from what I've seen doesn't offer a gasoline engine, so it would make more sense to have only the lower-RPM gauges for diesel engines, unless the devs are planning to add a gasoline version.
