Well this my best for now, 6.770 @ 200.27 mph If i could just figure out a way to get more traction id smash 6.6. If i use the drag timer mod that eliminates my poor reaction time im a lot closer at 6.7.

i just watched your 6.6 run and considering my car doesnt look like a transformer and actually has all body panels windows and lights i think 6.7 is pretty good so im happy with and am gonna stop here.

 

Use ballasts. Anything is a ballast as long as its where you need it to be.

It went 6.7 in the video, but super impressive still! Maybe post to YouTube and share the link instead?

Also, new update got time slips. How do you guys feel about posting just a screenshot of the timeslip? I've got a few already.

I think cars should have all body panels (with the exception of the hood maybe?). 6.770 is really close to my old PB with that car. RT is not factored into ET, it's a separate timer. When you break the beam, the race time starts.

 

bro i came here to submit my new time and realised im so stupid i thought all the cintilla clips were you the black sheep cause they all have the same blue face profile pic thats why i was so annoyed with the 6.6 cause i thought you broke your own body panel rule lol.

I wouldn't break my own rules haha. We are so close! I didn't get a video of the pass but I have the timeslip from the timeslip UI app. Let me know what you guys think. I realize we can break our own PBs unexpectedly sometimes so should timeslips be good enough?

Edit: The timeslip shows the temperature of the pass. I think future entries should have the timeslip video or not just to keep it fair for everyone.

 

This is my entry for modded. 5.25 @278

 

I wanted to see the fastest time I could get with cutout parts(Vanilla). I will try to make a new project with more "road legal" car. I like to make project cars without mods, only Vanilla parts and cars.

 

So, I did best time 6.538, but didn't record it, because I was testing the car :X. Anyways, here's my PB on recorded run 1/4 mile 6.601 with a Vanilla car and Vanilla parts, no other mods used. I tried my best to follow the rules for the drag discipline you've settled here. You can check the video bellow!

Umm, mr/mrs. blacksheep? The scoreboard isn't gonna update itself...

I also think the modded section must be removed entirely, because you can make ridiculously quick cars by adding more 0s.

 

I managed a 5.02 with a heavily modified barstow. Only have the ss so understand if its not enough proof for a leader board. The car can consistently run 5.4-5.5s on most successful runs. Right now its very hard to keep the front end down to steer.

Removed my own time from the list because I forgot the car didn't have a roll cage. I'll add it back eventually.

 

on the roll cage requirement, it has the be the default beamng roll cage, right?

I haven't logged on since I last edited the post. Your post even says "Last edited by a moderator: Feb 2, 2025." Calm your attitude, no one cares what you have to say if you're going to be rude about it. Maybe if your posts weren't so rude the mods wouldn't have taken them down. Just a thought.

Yes. The modded stuff got out of hand real fast, so default cage should be the only cage we are using.

 

6.4xx at 237mph vanilla. Only mods active are BeamMP and Simple Power to weight UI app. Could go faster, but I only felt like investing 20 minutes into this.

 

I am here to claim the vanilla BX record with a 7.132 @ 194.43

with the actual config i can run closer to a 6.9, but it did not meet the requirements of a rollcage or all body panels (had no front or rear bumper)

 

I am going to have to take that record from you sl4y3r3343 6.972 @196.34
