Lore: Civetta C94LM is a Le Mans Prototype race car built by Civetta and motorsport constructor LITA for 1994 racing season under the new IMSA WSC ruleset. It features carbon fiber monocoque and bodyworks, pushrod suspension, engine-stressed structure, and a 3.9 Litre high-revving V8 which can be traced back to Bolide Group 4 Rally car and some Group C machines, coupled with a 5-speed sequential manual transmission, delivering 600 horsepower to the rear wheels. It was widely operated by privateer teams around the globe, and were strong contender for 24 Hours of Le Mans in the late 1990s. (Idea mainly from Ferrari 333SP and contemporary IMSA WSC cars like Riley-Scott Mk3 and TWR WSC-95.) Credit: Me - designing and lore writing @SKYLINE Z - main modeling work @kalisbe - jbeaming and other tweaks some other friends will be involved in future testing and detailing works. Sit rep: We've already done a version of full bodyworks, and put them on a lengthened Bolide chassis for testing. Later we would design its own chassis and fully functional suspension structure. Our goal is to match the speed and driving experience of 333SP and other WSC cars. Bodyworks need to be polished (you can notice the unfinished roll cage), handling need to be tested, jbeam need to be done, there's lots of work waiting for us. This is our first Bu1lT fR0m tHe GroUNd uP vehicle mod so please wait for our cooking.
There's not nearly enough LMP cars in this game, looks great and I can't wait to see how this shapes up.
What kind of blowovers? Maybe u can show me and we would consider --- Post updated --- Maybe, depends on whether could we figure out how to make it works best --- Post updated --- The initial design is to use the vanilla content of Civetta 3.2/3.5/3.9 V8, maybe we would make one bespoke V10/V12 in future updates. --- Post updated --- Update: Redone the proportion, now it resembles the original 333SP more closely. Still figuring out how to design the rear suspension based on the Transmission shell from Bolide.
