As an Automation player, I confirm this. Those valve covers are the exact ones you get by default on any DOHC engine.
Until someone comes forward with a comprehensive review of the car, I wanna at least give the guy some chance since I haven't even seen what the jbeam, model quality, driving characteristics etc, are. At this point people are either looking at the price (which is, yes, absolutely horrendous) or taking the word of others at face value. Politely requesting either the creator or someone with 25 bucks to make a review with screenshots or a video and come to a comprehensive conclusion
agreed, because i'm also embarrased about this community too, scammers, kids, everything makes it worse
yeah, that's what they should do, like scs banning paid mods from ets2, they should do it with beamng as well since paid mods is a revolting trend and i hate it, i'd rather buy something from in real life than buying paid mods
the problem here is that there are a few people on the forums who make actually high quality paid mods for a reasonable price (usually just under 4 euro) and the people making overpriced meshslaps are usually on completely different websites. so BeamNG banning paid mods from the forums would hurt those who actually take time into making good mods, but then not hurt the slop makers in the slightest usually when the slop (for example: this bugatti, which im fairly certain Ace Hood would NOT want to wake up in) makes its way to the forums, it gets removed after a while. why its not the case this time is anyone's guess
whenever you are making a PAID meshlap, it should never be never be paid in the first place because it will never get up to dev quality which from forums you would expect from a paid mod ex. Segra Ultimat
No need to ban them, maybe add an icon that indicates that a mod is paid. Just like on some websites.
I'm actually waiting for this to be released for free! I think it's better for them two after all these ... Who knows, might happen.

honestly it feels like the mods think people are hating on this mainly because its paid, when in reality they're hating on it because its a 20 dollar low quality meshslap (not even a good one at that) doesn't help it also uses irl branding. now, i know Bugatti isn't like Fer- you know who, but i really do feel like they might also not like someone trying to profit on their brand without being licensed to do so. which could have a small chance of landing a lawsuit.
It HAS been locked, no idea why it's been un-locked. Start mass-reporting the thread, if the developers/moderators even care about the forum anymore this should've been locked or deleted long ago. Shit like this shouldn't fly anymore.
i feel like massreporting could lead to the mods thinking that its more of a targeted attack (which it technically would be) and either temporarily shut the website down to clear some stuff up, or start blocking people's IP's thinking that someone launched a couple bots to spam the report function. its still good to report this every now and then since it does break several rules, but its best to limit the amount of reports. also i have a theory that the mods are just using this thread to see how long it would take us to give up and abandon a thread naturally.
