Hello everyone! This mod is a horn pack that adds over 230 new horn sounds! It's not just a normal horn mod, there's a special feature in this mod! Every horn have adjustable volume and adjustable fade-out! You can change them in the tuning menu. (To figure out what "adjustable fade-out" means, watch the video) Very important: You can't use the vanilla horn key binding to play the horns, you have to use "MHP horn" key binding to play the horns of this mod. You can find it under vehicle category near the vanilla horn key binding. The default control key of MHP horn is H, same as vanilla horn key, so probably you will not even realize that you're using the MHP key. Note: If you have burglar alarm mod installed, the default control key of MHP horn or the default key bindings of the burglar alarm mod will not work and you have to bind a new control key to it yourself How to install horns on vehicles? In the horn slot of your vehicle, choose "MHP Horn Sounds". Next in the category slot, choose a category. Then you'll be able to choose a horn and use it. What about adding a semi horn for the t-series like these ones? I've seen horns like that on beamng crash videos and they use sound effects like that for the horn.
Ok, I'll add these horns too. I will also try to add a new horn slot to the semi, then you can use every horn on the semi! (I mean, now the semi can use the 5th horn sound only, and you can't change it. But I'll try to make a new horn slot, then you can choose every horn you want!) Thanks for the suggestion!
UPDATED! Now you can use the horns on the semi! Also, added new horn sounds! How to use horns on the semi? Open parts selector, in the right horn slot, choose Chanbeable Horn Sound. You have to delete the left horn when you want to use the changeable horn sound! Otherwise it would cause instability issues! If you install changeable horn sound on your truck, you can choose any horn you want, like in other cars! Also don't worry about losing your horns meshes, you can add to your truck again! There are 2 slots to add left or right horn meshes on your truck: When you added changeable horn sound to your truck, you'll be able to add MHP horn sounds to your truck. Also, I have added some new horn sounds! They are truck horns! (Thanks to @askyour_dad for the suggestion!) yep that suggestion became an update. Btw what are the names of the horns added because theres literally no horns that i suggested.
In the truck horn sounds category, the horn 3 and 4 are the sound of first and third video. But the sound of the second video, is exactly the same as vanilla horn sound. That's why I didn't add it. (I'm talking about these videos)
Sure? The video sounds different from the one already in game, also how do I get to the truck category cause I cant find it on the t-series. Edit: I just noticed on one of the screenshots that it had the horn sound, it doesn't let me open it (Look at the bottom of the parts selector at the horn sound)
Hmm idk. I can't add that horn to the game anyway since there is a woman who says something and makes the sound unusable Click at "Horn 5", then you'll be able to change it and choose MHP Horn Sounds. Next, open the MHP Horn Sounds tab to find the category slot, then choose Truck Horn Sounds. This video can help too:
I know I may be late, but this mod sounds amazing, yet doesn’t work for me. Is it just me or is the mod being discontinued?
sadly this mod doesnt work. when i try to add it it goes back to the original horns from beamng. can you fix this?
