How are these made exactly?

 

tbh it feels more like a meme than anything believable, but if it is actually AI generated stuff they maybe used one of the few "text/image to 3D" AI generators that actually do exist apparently. Slap that mesh on an existing .jbeam and there you have an 'AI generated' mod - or maybe they even made custom .jbeam too? but idk, I'm just assuming things.

Personally, mixed feelings about AI generation, I really like it for chat functionality and story telling/writing, but hate it for image generation - as a more traditional artist I am obviously biased. I do however love how we started with a simple "what you feelings on AI?? :3" and then a few days pass and @direct_UA and his band of merry men (tho it's prolly a cult tbh the more I think about it) come in to storm the thread with some possibly believably ai-generated looking vehicles, I almost hate it. wth were they smoking at that meeting?
