Haha, finally someone noticed --- Post updated --- Oh, and something that I'd like to announce is that this won't be the only 2007 related content coming to BeamNG drivers, as I'll be working on additional scheme packs based on the remaining Cup manufacturers that ran in 2007. Ford: 13 Primary Paint Schemes Dodge: 16 Primary Paint Schemes Chevrolet: 31 Primary Paint Schemes Yeah, I'm going to be extra busy when I get with the Chevy schemes but as well, due to Dodge being nonexistent in the Cup Series, that leaves to either try and stich together a "Dodge" Template or create the Dodge schemes but use the manufacturer that team ran the year after they left Dodge (Penske schemes on Fords, Petty Enterprises on Fords, Chip Ganassi schemes on Chevy etc, etc.). I'm considering taking the second option but I'll have my options in the air once I finish with the Dodge and Chevy packs. And one last thing to note: They'll be primary schemes ONLY, so think of their Daytona 500 schemes and that's what you'll see in the packs. Alternative Schemes and special Crown Jewel schemes may come afterwards but that's simply too much work at this moment of time.
Merry Christmas everyone! To celebrate the holidays, here's Update 1.1 to the Toyota Carset featuring fixed colors for every scheme. If you have already downloaded the pack, overwrite it and the new schemes should show up properly. Please contact me if they don't show up in-game
Quick update to this thread: Rather than making 4 separate threads for the 4 NNC '07 packs, I'm turning this Toyota thread into the general thread for my NASCAR Nextel Cup '07 Carset project. You'll be able to still download the Toyota pack as normal, but the other packs will be added to the pinned post alongside the pre-existing ZIP file. Anyways, I've begun work on the Ford section of the pack, featuring Marcos Ambrose's #77 that attempted Watkins Glen but DNQ'd due to rain. Plus, the #47 of Jon Wood, whose scheme was driven by Ken Schrader at Las Vegas since Wood took over the #21 for that race, but for the sake of the project, Wood's running those Ore-Ida colors instead.
That's gonna be part of the Ford pack alongside the other major and minor Ford teams that ran in '07 --- Post updated --- Speaking of Fords, we got Ken Schrader's #21 Ford up and running in-game
The skins will be in separate packs. So all Toyota skins will be in one, all of the Ford skins in their own, etc etc
Apologies for the non-existent communication in-regards to the BeamNG cars. I've been busy with an F1 carset for NR2003 and college has eaten up most of my time. But hey, I'm done with that NR project so I do have the work time to finish up the Ford portion of the project. Here's a WIP screenshot for the Biff.
The Biff is complete, surely the economy won't suffer a massive crash and AmeriQuest goes bust, right?
That'll be something I'll figure out when the time comes (IE, after the Ford and Chevy cars are done)
3/5ths of the Roush-Fenway org is down. Only ones remaining are Carl Edwards and Jamie McMurray's rides respectively. After that, it should be both Yates cars, Robby Gordon and Frank Kimmel's cars
