Re: General discussion chat So, a victim got killed by a ricocheted round? Hmm. And that hostage tried to save their lives. That was a good feat in itself.
Re: General discussion chat What about 2000 nigerian civils killed by islamist activits aka ISIS? Why doesn't anyone talk about that?
Re: General discussion chat Post mortem on Sydney victim shows the bullet was already fragmented when it impacted, it also came to rest within her body when at those ranges you would expect entry and exit. So clearly the bullet that hit her had hit something else first. They haven't 100% confirmed it was a police bullet, but its pretty likely. Bullet ricochet can be unpredictable and during a high paced assault with the adrenaline running, its going to be doubly hard to account for, a highly unfortunate and accidental death, but one in which the risk of the occurring was always present. As for French hostage. A courageous effort in its own right. Would have taken some balls to stand against such evil. Many British landmarks are to be lit in blue white and red tonight.
Re: General discussion chat It is reported on western media daily. it feeds the right wing political groups all the time who seek to do nothing but impose another holocaust against the Muslim population. Why don't I mention it. Its not news. the same thing happens every fucking day
Re: General discussion chat Speaking of right wing, the FDA is trying to take trans fats out of sprinkles and donuts, and they take it as "They are taking away our sprinkles and donuts!". Why are people so idioticly sheep?
Re: General discussion chat Taking away donuts is slightly different from "lets build gas chambers and put all the Muslims in Britain in them"
Re: General discussion chat Yeah but the idiocy level is still there. If something isn't changed, aka PRISM and other things relating to the government, we're screwed. And there was a report on the donuts, guess where, Fox News of all places.
Re: General discussion chat Could be worse though. could be Russia or china were all the news reports must be run past the state first, no freedom of speech. For our Bosnian fellow. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-30761963
Re: General discussion chat The responses above is why I don't even watch the news anymore. They're always reporting the bad stuff. For example, my local news station doesn't report anything good, rather for the last 45 minutes of the show they report the same bad stuff over and over again.
Re: General discussion chat That is what news is lol, I went to my grandmas and the channel stayed on news and they literally reported the same thing for 2 hours.
Re: General discussion chat I don't watch the news anymore because i don't have time for it and it isn't relevant to my life in any way whatsoever. But i do often find out about the bigger stories through others. But if it wasn't for this thread i would have had no idea that anything had happened in Aus or France.
Re: General discussion chat This morning I have been attempting to install the official operating system of North Korea (for teh lolz). If I suddenly go offline, then I've probably been captured by the North Korean Army. Note that the spinning beachball in the upper left corner is not from the host machine- rather, it's there because OS uses a skin very similar to that of OSX.
Re: General discussion chat SOUTH KOREA ISNT KOREA NORTH KOREA IS THE ONLY KOREA HAIL THE DEAR LEADER
Re: General discussion chat fun fact: red staruuuu osuuuu is actually just a version of osx but more grorious
