"Mods are to be purchased off Patreon", it says on the Discord. So the creator really just took his previously free mods and moved them behind a paywall? That makes him the third person to have done that, after the D-Series expansion pack guy and the Derby Fairgrounds guy, and if we let this tactic become normalized it will have FAR worse knock-on effects on the community than the introduction of paid mods in general. If you want to start making money off mods, the right way to do it is to create brand new developer-quality content, and sell it as a one-time purchase.
