    Amazing mod !!!!
honestly I've been praying for times like this
Finally a good e30 mod that brings the 1988 and onward facelift
Honestly I'm so overjoyed as the E30 has some sentimental value to me irl and i can finally have fun with it in Beamng

once suggestion I'd give is, when working on the coupe variant it would be cool to add the South African spec333i and 325is Evo models
these are different to the sport evolution models seen everywhere else

the 325is (ZA spec) was made for local group N homogenization as well as the fact that South Africa did not get the M3, it had an alpina 2.7l M20B27 (not eta) , M3 front suspension and aluminiun Hood, fenders and front valance, it too sported a M-technic 2 body kit and was made from i believe 1989-1991 as 2 Evolution models the Evo 1 and Evo 2

The 333i, similar to the 325is was made due to the fact that South Africa did not get the M3, it was a pr- facelift E30 coupe with the M30B32 from the 7 series, it had an M-tech 1 body kit and interior, dogleg transmission and special badging also fun fact because the engine was so big in comparison to the available space in the engine bay, buyers had to choose between having air conditioning or power steering but could not have both (i don't really know much about the 333i or pre-facelift e30s in general)

Here is some media on the cars and once again thank you for making such a good E30 mod

316i weight ~1100kg without fluid and option IRL and the one I did 1280kg without fluid (gas). So it's more like 180 and not 300. We can imagine the car have some option (obviuslty not the 316i but you get the point) and the driver in it (~80kg). If we add option and driver in the 316i it make like... 100kg more.
So yeah Im sorry for it still definatly make a non negligable difference for tiny engine. I will see if the weight of 4 cylinder is accurate since I don't rework those engine (new S14 is 30kg lighter than M10/M40/M42).
Fun fact is my M5 E34 is way to light and everybody on youtube video say "driving feel really realistic".;)

Also I see a lot of people complain about the camera off centered, but do they know the steering wheel is oem off centered? I reduce this for future update because I understand it can be unconfortable.

I manage to drag the 316/318 down to 1232.22 for M10 and 1218.82 for M40 (without gas). You will definatly feel the difference, not enougth but I think decent. I haven't touch the gearbox yet wich I know make 10 kg less than the current getrag 260 installed.

E30 is an old poorly performing 80's car, slow and not very good at corners, between 0.74 to 0.79g on skidpad IRL, but there is some magic surrounding it from some reason.

Surely at 80's car was slightly better than average, but still 80's cars are junk by today's standards, no matter how much better they did look than modern junk.

Basic Kia might outperform quite many of them, that is how times have moved.

Ok, M3 is something special, but technically it is not exactly same car, so many changes were implemented that it could be said to be completely different vehicle.

I do enjoy this mod, very nicely made and steering wheel being off center is realistic. I do like how clock works in analog and digital form.

Weight is perhaps bit more than real car, but attempting to make correct corner weights, cg height, component weights, beam stability, crashing behavior and so on is notoriously difficult in BeamNG, I don't see need to complain when car is so nice to drive and to look at and overall well made.

It took about 10 minutes to go around green hell with Technic I model, the red one. Remember that at 80's Testarossa took well over 9 minutes and that is quite bit more aerodynamic and well more powerful vehicle, also I am certainly not a god of driving, also I could blame my new shifter and it was a full lap, not the normal bridge to gantry lap, so if anything I would think car could be bit fast, but I am not all too versed regarding this Technic I model.

Most certainly I was surprised by the stability and amound of traction at the rear end, feeling was like semi-slicks, not sure which kind of tire is on that vehicle config. Also exhaust note of six cylinder models does sound quite open straight piped one.

I am curious if author of the mod has plans to add operating fuel consumption needle and operation to those green led lamps at the dashboard?

Also it was very pleasant surprise to find out this mod operates well in career mode, remembering how tiny the trunk space was in E30.

All in all, I do find this car mod to be one of the more interesting ones and I am sure there will be plenty of use it, thank you for making and sharing this vehicle, certainly make BeamNG gaming experience richer.

    Hi
Yea, M3 have a little bit shorter wheel base, aero and far better suspension, resulting a really agile car. In fact heavier than a standard E30 coupe. And the engine isn't that powerful. All that make the car really grippy.
For the sedan suspension exept the shorter weelbase and minor change is almost the same as etki, since it based of bmw and mercedes from 90's I think that not an issues.
For tires most of config are mounted with sport tires. For speak with some standard E30 owner they say the stock E30 is not really an oversteer car like the E34. Perfect for track build.
Green led light on dash are oil service inspection. They only light few second when you put the ignition. I don't really look how to make that.
Fuel consumation/oil temp needle are planned but not really a priority RN.
I really enjoy making the E30 and I hope making one of the best mod with time!

Those red warning lights turn on with vanilla cars and then disappear when engine is running, green leds might be possible to fake using similar method, they would not really show oil level, but lit up during starting procedure, this might be quite easy way to make them lit, although bit fake.

Of course that might lead to complaining as when one manages to drain their oil leds would still show normal oil level, so it is understandable if such situation is wanted to be avoided, but just as a thought.

Oh and sports tires would explain quite a bit as they are close to semi-slicks if I have understood correctly, I try with normal ones and see if handling around the turn would then require bit more taming of the speed.

Also E34 I have enjoyed quite a bit, although for some reason in career mode there was red flag complaining some error when loading the vehicle, perhaps it was one time issue or mod conflict, I must investigate that a little bit.

Yes, I do enjoy crappy old cars, anything boxy works for me quite well.

You are excellent modder and your passion does show up in these vehicles you have made, thank you!

    Haha Thanks!
It's quite weird for E34, It worked perfectly for me in career. Have you test several config? It can be due to gauges sometime.
On my personal E34 im quite sure that the oil service turn down even without starting the engine.
I think put it when key is on "ignit only" can make it, should dig if their is a function for it

Thank, I lack of info for the 325is
Btw It forced me to do an RHD, but I think It will be only aviable on M3/coupe/cab (I don't want to make the mod toooo much huge yk)

it's weird because I made the mod a way it not can conflict, but throw you other E30 mod away anyway you don't need it anymore

    More fire than fire :p
    Oh behave

The S85 swap will need a Touring unibody for weight distribution
Maybe a reserve wheel trunk gastank would be nice for even more rear weight bias …

EDIT: Found the fuel cell in the supporter's version!
    Can't get near 50%-50% yet though ;)

One small tiny bug I noticed when messing around with the brakes, is the naming for the front brakes with the 4 lug setup(As far as I've noticed anyway) is that for the front it says "rear brakes".

Yea I find the sedan isn't fantastic at drifiting, maybe it need abusive steering angle (I tried to did but steering bend everytime).
But touring... is born for that. For waiting I can recommand an S14 with the biggest turbo. Lack of torque at low rpm but the lighness option.

    thanks for the huge suppport!

The trunk on the touring looks a bit strange. Normal issues or whatever it's called? Should be a smooth surface, but here it looks like it is curving in towards the edges if that makes sense.

I am liking the mod so far :)

Also, any chance you could try to model some inner fenders for the rear, so it's not completely open like it is now?

And just a suggestion; I think it looks better if you make the inside of the exhaust tips black like I have done here.
