ok, lets get back on topic here. Just saying in the next week or 2 i will be working on the fulmine for as long as possible, posting updates every 2 hours over multiple days (besides sleeping and stuff). I will be posting the summary of what happened here, but the continuous updates will be posted on the discord server thread. So i will post when i will start, go and check it out on the beamng server if you want up-to-date things.
this is an unrelated update, but i have been working on this for a while (in terms of modelling), just admire some pictures
ok, tomorrow is the day, when i will be doing the 1 week of constant updates on the mod, constantly working on it. Remember, i may forget things, i may be busy etc. So here i will be posting the summarys of each day. On the beamng discord server, i will be posting the updates every 2 hours. So follow there if you want fully up-to-date things, and some of you will be asleep because of me being an Australia baby. at the end of each day i will be posting the goal of the next day, so for tomorrow, the goal is to finish off the chassis 3d model, then texture it and get it into the game.
Ok, day 1 complete, here are all the updates from the day (and no i didnt get it into the game, or texture it): tomorrows topic: putting more details onto this model and the entire mod e.g. Oil fill plugs, coolant resoviours, radiators, battries etc
Ok day 2 done, not much happening here, what can i say besides i added cables, more frontal detail and a battery: Dont know what the topic is tomorrow, ill do my best to keep you all updated, maybe tomorrow can be something else involving modelling e.g radiators, more detail for the chassis, engine bay stuff, fuel doors, interior cables, behind the dashboard motherboards and cables. Just some ideas. If you have a suggestion i can probably check it in the morning if your fast enough
Day 3, again not much done, tomorrow, there should be a bit done in terms of behind the scenes. So the pictures from today: question for everyone, should i have 2 versions of the mod? 1: A lower quality version, so that means, that there will be less parts breaking off the car, for example: door breaks off, bumpers break off etc. 2: A higher quality version, so with this you will have different parts of the bumper fall off e.g front lip. have the doorcards fall off, interior parts break, rear bumper has parts fall off etc i will be doing some jbeaming and putting more parts into the game, (NOT THE CHASSIS) so, my main focus for the jbeam is getting the car to a mostly drivable state, at the moment it can drive but not well
I really like the idea of offering two different versions. It would make the experience more accessible to those with less powerful systems, ensuring that everyone can enjoy it regardless of their hardware or financial situation. At the same time, it would cater to enthusiasts with high-end setups by providing a more detailed, immersive, and visually stunning experience that takes full advantage of advanced technology. This approach not only ensures inclusivity but also encourages a wider audience to participate while still rewarding those who invest in higher-end equipment. It’s a smart and thoughtful way to accommodate diverse user needs without compromising on quality. - Chat gbt
For low quality, is that like a simplified traffic car or just lower quality? I would say higher quality though.
just like a regular mod, maybe slightly more optimised, the high wuality will be like this: thanks to @iamthelaw for the screenshot
so the interior is going to have the mirror fall off? climate controls? different pats of the interior too? LESSSGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
