    Final question for me tonight: Would one of you be so kind as to tell a short story on how the whole node/beam theory came to be? Being what this is and how it works
    is ingenious and I've been wanting to know. I don't want secret info or anything just who dreamed this up and it's story.

    Pricode came up with the idea in 2005 from games like 1nsane. He then developed Rigs of Rods from that idea, tdev later took over development in 2008(or around then) and then finally BeamNG was developed.

    Yeah that's using the decal road fading in experimental, very useful feature.

    Well this has really sparked some interest from me. Its been a while since i've been excited about BeamNG, mostly been following Assetto Corsa as of late, but now i have the sudden urge to play this again! Cheers, Devs!

    awesome car anyway, i know a place where a white one parks when i walk from school, first and possibly last Prelude of this gen i will ever see, pretty clean too.

    Quick tip for map makers/modellers out there; keep these shapes in mind when making "curbs" or anything like them because otherwise wheels will get stuck and you'll break cars. I did some testing the other day and this is the result of what works and doesn't (red X for car catching destruction).

    this is both silly and wonderful to have these mini-blog posts. i like this idea!

    as said before, it really does seem to humanize a day in the life of you guys!

    you can actually stop it from asking about things like ask toolbars and all that:

    just go to java control panel, advanced tab, then check the highlighted check shown in the above picture

    now for all future updates it should no longer ask that (also sorry if we aren't supposed to post any pictures in here, i just thought you might like to know this)

    There was this dude that goes by the name of pricorde. He created pontifex bridge builder. It was a node and beam bridge building game, a genre that is now quite popular on smartphones etc. He then started work on a game called rigs of rods. He then left that and tDev took over work on it along with some others. They have now moved on to create BeamNG and some new people have taken over work on rigs of rods which is now in active development again.

    The main reasons i added this is because you should totally give pontifex bridge builder a go, its pretty good fun even if it is super old now. The other reason is because i have no idea what pricorde has done since he left rigs of rods, if anyone knows/ is allowed to share then it would be awesome to know since the above games were really quite cool.

    Also a huge thanks for tDev for setting this up, its awesome and i hope that somewhat frequent updates will continue.
