0.34 Discussion Thread

Why is it called the Bruckell Nine?

I understand cars that got their names from cylinder counts (e.g. Packard Six, Eight and Twelve), or ones where it came from the tax horsepower rating (like the various British Eights, Tens, Twelves...), but what's the reasoning here?

 

In devblog, they did mentioned that it comes with nine different body styles, so perhaps nine comes from that fact?

 

The new Nine needs a better or modern radiator, the Ultra High Performance Radiator is not enough

 

Even after update 0.34, you cannot turn on the alarm and brake lights when the ignition is off. In real cars, the emergency alarms and brake lights light up when the ignition is off, as well as the parking lights. In the game, it's like all the power in the car is turned off, but the horn is working. Conclusion ; make sure that the stop signals light up when the ignition is turned off, the ability to turn on the alarm and the headlights should not go out

is that a gavril swap or a bruckell swap and is there only 1 swap

I was making a custom config of the Nine and noticed that even after adding the wiring, the rear right turn signal still doesn't work.

I haven't tried other body styles other than the pickup body, so it could just be body specific.

(Edit: Wrong turn signal. It was right, not left)

Another thing that only occurred to me now, but since vanilla safety cars are now possible, is there more of a chance that the siren audio parts could be renamed? Even if it's just by siren type (e.g. "Mechanical Siren 2" or "FATT Scanner") or sound type ("Hi-Lo 5", "Wail 2", "Yelp 3").



It's still fairly frustrating to have to listen to each siren sound to figure out which one works the best, since I can never remember which number corresponds to which sound (except for #25, the hi-lo that sounds like bagpipes).
